The protagonist of one of the most beautiful chapters in wildlife, Dr. AJT Johnsingh departs leaving behind a towering legacy in the field of conservation. Walking the forest won’t be the same again, Rest well sir.
@DobieIndica @rameshpandeyifs Bakain is toxic for humans unlike neem. Also it’s extremely hardy and fast growing owing to seed dispersal by birds. Very very bird friendly, especially with grey hornbills.
Tiger is not born man eater. Even if it shows aggression, it’s a mock. It’s a construct. It’s time to set the right narrative about the true nature of tiger. It’s important when tigers are increasing and dispersing in new areas. Here is an example.
@ParveenKaswan Where have you acquired this information from? Sooth to say, this is quite inaccurate. Tiger signs were recorded in the Yamuna bordering Kalesar until 2005. Animals that migrate from Rajaji to Kalesar use Saharanpur & Dehradun division as their remnant corridor.
@Saket_Badola@moefcc@ntca_india Inter-state protection measures/coordination between @Uttkhand_Forest & @UpforestUp should be practised rigorously. Just how CTR revived Amangarh to a large extent, we’re bound to witness spill over of tiger population from western Rajaji to Saharanpur Division, in times to come.
@WelBeast We should now line up our back 4 in this manner 👇🏻
Tierney-Gabriel-White-Zinchenko(RB)
Zinchenko can keep dropping in the middle of the park, while Tierney could over-lap Martinelli going forward on the left. Let’s admit City will try and over press Saka anyway.

The Grasslands of terai arc landscape are not just one the most suitable habitats for the Asian elephants but also one of the most suitable to observe this magnificent species.
@rameshpandeyifs@Saket_Badola@skumarias02
@RM_Says@Suparnastar@prernabindra@SheldrickTrust Absolutely. Elephants are held captive and can never be domesticated. You let go a captive elephant in a productive forest it’ll never come back, unlike a dog, which may arrive back home for food. But never an elephant.
How about lending your ears and nose to the jungle. The rustle of dry leaves when an #elephant walks,breaking branches,rumble,bellow,growl,trumpet & the scent of musth,urine and dung, it’s all pertinent before the sight of this magnanimous #species@rameshpandeyifs@Saket_Badola
