Essex Girl - City Girl - you choose! from sports to drinking...from working to playing hard...! and finally, being kind! manners cost nothing remember! ;-)
As a farmer, I have deep concerns about the impact of halal slaughter on animal welfare - it is unnecessarily cruel.
I asked Govt to commission a study on the subject - the answer was due on Jan 16th. I have heard nothing.
My opinion is that Halal slaughter should be banned.
Breaking: A man has been jailed for 3 years for punching a police officer in the face during the riots.
Meanwhile, the two violent thugs who brutally attacked 3 armed police officers at Manchester Airport have not even been charged.
Blatant two-tier justice.
The ‘far-right’ aren’t stabbing kids.
The ‘far-right’ don’t roam the streets with machetes.
The ‘far-right’ aren’t 90% of MI5’s watchlist.
The ‘far-right’ don’t blow up trains & pop concerts.
The ‘far-right’ aren’t mass-grooming white girls.
The ‘far-right’ doesn’t exist.
Biological male athletes have undeniable physical advantages over female competitors.
It is entirely unfair and unjust to allow them into a physical sporting contest with women.
That is not just my professional opinion, it is an undeniable fact.
Watch this (whole thread), then explain why you’re OK with a man beating a woman in public for your entertainment. This isn’t sport. From the bullying cheat in red all the way up to the organisers who allowed this to happen, this is men revelling in their power over women.
"What’s happening in Britain right now is not about ‘disinformation’, ‘misinformation’ or a rogue tweet. It is the culmination of decades of disastrous policies by our ruling class -the same class that's rushing to discredit anybody who points this out"

There is a growing feeling that certain groups are being policed very differently to others.
ALL must be treated fairly and equally by the law.
Violence on our streets must NOT be tolerated, from ANY group.
That must apply to all.
The IOC are negligent in their duty of care to female boxers. Knowingly putting males with a huge advantage in the ring with females. These males have been tested & banned by two boxing federations for having XY chromosomes. Its beyond belief but nothing the IOC does fails to disappoint me these days
I've never been a member of a political party, never got too involved in politics and quite frankly never cared too much about it.
But I've watched over the last few decades, the last few years in particular, how the country has fallen apart. Nothing works, worst of all the NHS, which I gave the majority of my working life to.
Why should people tolerate it? Those of us who raise concerns are told to be quiet, and told to be grateful for what is given to us. We all pay tax, an increasing amount, why shouldn't we demand better value for money?
And of course lockdown, the big elephant in the polling station. The single biggest policy mistake in my lifetime, which has received zero attention from the Conservatives and Labour.
The millions who suffered through lockdowns, and the thousands who died directly because of them, have been failed by a shameful, self-interested political class who refuse to even acknowledge their mistakes.
How lockdowns went largely unopposed through Parliament just shows to me how desperately we need new politicians in that Parliament.
I look at how the Conservatives have run this election campaign with astonishment. They offer nothing positive and are unable to defend their appalling track record. It's pathetic.
Labour? No vision or ambition, they just seem to hope that people dislike the Tories enough that it will carry them through.
I've voted the same way for decades, but this election will be different.
I spoke at a Reform event in Great Yarmouth. Sixty people came on a sunny Friday evening to hear me talk about the NHS. With a number of youngsters in the audience - just remarkable. There is a real appetite for change out there.
Reform are far from perfect, but at least they're trying to do things differently and offer radical policy alternatives.
Britain desperately needs reform, and that is on the ballot.
