At least a dozen innocent protesters have been confirmed dead, with hundreds more injured—many in critical condition. The death toll is rising exponentially, as hospitals across the capital continue to receive reports of dead bodies and critically injured protesters.

The people of Pakistan are enduring extreme oppression under a military-backed fascist regime that has resorted to direct firing on innocent civilians exercising their democratic right to peaceful protest. With the death toll rising rapidly and hundreds critically injured, hospitals are overwhelmed and running short of emergency medical supplies, and the crisis is worsening by the second.

Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan is reportedly planning to apply for the position of the chancellor at Oxford University after the seat became vacant following the resignation of Lord Patten, who stepped down after 21 years in the role, The Telegraph reported.

BREAKING: A court in Pakistan has acquitted former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife on charges of unlawful marriage, according to his party and lawyer.

Khan and his wife, Bushra Khan, were sentenced to seven years, days before Pakistan’s election in February.
