I was in Illah, Oshimili North Ward 3, yesterday, where I joined the leadership and members of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (@NigeriaNDCHQ ) to welcome a significant number of new members into our party. I was deeply encouraged by the enthusiasm, conviction and courage of the people who made this decision.

I was particularly pleased to share the moment with our Oshimili North State Constituency candidate, Mr. @ACO101988 Ashinze Charles Obiodogwu, whose message of “Joy is coming” resonated strongly with the people, as well as Dr. @UzomaAwunor Valentine NDC candidate for Aniocha North Constituency 1, who joined us in solidarity.

While I explained that I was yet to officially commence my campaign, I assured the people of my readiness to embark on a wholesome and expressive campaign across Delta North.
One that will confront our past, examine where we are today and present a clear path forward for the Anioma people in the New Direction era.

Our campaign will be about issues, ideas, accountability and the future we can build together.

I further urged the people of Illah to remain firm and resist every form of political manipulation, intimidation and old political tricks that have treated the people's mandate as the property of political structures.
The votes of our people belong to them, and those votes must translate into genuine representation, development opportunities and a better quality of life.

I also received a resounding response to the question of the people's choice for the 2027 Presidency

I assured them that my interest in the senatorial race is not for the title, but to offer Delta North a representation that listens, works and delivers.
