Observemos el proceso de leer y escribir en la humanidad: antes de 1700 el 99.99% de la población no sabía leer y ni escribir; en 1800 ya era el 1%, que sabía leer y escribir y hace menos de 100 años solamente un 5% de la población mundial lo sabía. Entonces, ¿por qué un salto tan rápido en los últimos 100 años? Fácil, no existían escuelas (instituciones de adoctrinamiento). Me pregunto ¿cómo ha vivido la humanidad sin leer y escribir durante los siglos anteriores? ¿Era realmente necesario leer y escribir para vivir feliz como niño en esta
Tierra? Obviamente que no. Entonces yo me hago la pregunta:
¿es realmente un beneficio para la humanidad?, ¿o es más bien
un beneficio para alguien que quiere que apliquemos los hechizos e invocaciones que usamos a través de libros? Para mí,
lo más evidente es que la alfabetización nos llevó donde está la mayoría de la población ahora, usando un ordenador o un teléfono móvil, que es imposible sin saber leer y escribir. El uso
de la tecnología te lleva ser como un cyborg, que es el inicio del
transhumanismo.

XRP is the native bridge asset of the XRP Ledger. This is a live look of the last 72h on the XRPL DEX of trades going through XRP.

It's a protocol native functionality doing this by default. The XRPL routes automatically DEX offers through $XRP if it improves the trade quality.

2 things are interesting here.

1) Because the XRPL DEX is native the protocol captures activity at scale much better than fragmented smart contract DEX's, through auto bridging for the long tail of assets. You simply operate always on the same DEX and that aggregates liquidity and trades.

2) The current usage is 0.16% of DEX trades in the last 72h.

For someone like myself who sees huge potential for the protocol and especially optimized trade quality by going through XRP on the DEX at scale when this number is double digits this is an exciting outlook to work towards.
