In the summer of 1997, Bill Clinton visited Denmark. We landed on AF-1 in Copenhagen, boarded Marine One for a night time tour of the coast en route to Kronborg Castle, for Shakespeare the “home of Hamlet.” We landed at around midnight and were welcomed with open arms by the queen and her staff.

Beautiful, historic castle. I was put up in the Scottish Military suite. Beautiful room with a fully appointed spread of meats, cheeses, breads, fruit, and a full bar. All served, of course, with fine china and crystal.

After a phone call with my wife, I made sure POTUS was down for the evening and went to bed.

The next morning, the queen had a breakfast spread for Clinton and the staff. Again, first class.

As we headed to the motorcade to leave for an event and the flight home, I was pulled aside by the Danish military aide.

“Buzz, we have a problem. Your staff stole the china and crystal from their rooms. And took other things as well.”

I was stunned and chagrined. I apologized profusely and told him I’d handle it.

I talked with Hillary and the White House chief of staff and told them what had happened.

They both shrugged their shoulders. No apology. Nobody held accountable. No repayment.

Just another day in the Clinton White House and a group of Ugly Americans.

146,000 children have been located. Most were found in sanctuary cities, because the traffickers always knew exactly where they were safe.

Evil thrives where it is excused, and for four years, it was excused at the highest levels of the United States government.

1. Every child must be recovered.
2. Every trafficker must face prosecution.
3. Every official who knew and stayed silent must be held ACCOUNTABLE before the law and before God Almighty.

We must never tolerate a system that feeds children to predators. Find them all.

McDonald's announced they're replacing cashiers with kiosks in California just after the $20 minimum wage kicked in. Shocking to absolutely no one who understands basic economics. When you artificially price labor above its market value, employers find substitutes. Machines, automation, or they simply eliminate positions entirely.

The teenagers who desperately need that first job experience? Gone. The single mother trying to re-enter the workforce after years away? Priced out by someone with more skills. You've just created a legal barrier that prevents the least skilled workers from competing on the one thing they had going for them: willingness to work for less while they build experience.

Politicians pat themselves on the back for "helping workers" while unemployment among young minorities hits double digits. The workers who keep their jobs benefit (temporarily), but the invisible victims, those who never get hired in the first place, don't make headlines. Economics doesn't care about your good intentions.

The progressive left clings to the fantasy that wealth is manufactured by the state and its pet technocrats rather than by entrepreneurs who risk their own capital to create real value.

In their mythology, government planners are the heroic “designers” of prosperity, while the private sector is a problem to be taxed, regulated, and morally lectured. As Hayek warned, “the more the state ‘plans’ the more difficult planning becomes for the individual,” and progressives are determined to make individual planning all but impossible.

Their entire project rests on a basic fraud, confusing redistribution with creation. Social-democratic and socialist progressives boast about “fairness” and “equity,” but their toolkit is nothing more than confiscation and reallocation, slicing the same pie thinner while pretending they’ve baked a new one.

Hayek’s point that “there is all the difference in the world between treating people equally and attempting to make them equal” goes straight over their heads, they weaponize the latter to justify endless expropriation from those who actually produce.

The manufactured outrage on the progressive left over the SpaceX IPO is not about fraud, abuse, or failure, it is about their ongoing indoctrination campaign to portray success, risk-taking, and genuine wealth creation as moral crimes. A private company goes from “10 percent chance of success” to one of the most valuable enterprises on earth, and their instinctive response is not admiration or curiosity, but rage that such achievement is even allowed to exist. Their reaction to SpaceX is a case study in this pathology.
