@healthtech30@Vader_AI_@VaderResearch $VADER broke below the trendline that has held since april. Might add at lower levels, but currently feels like trying to catch a falling knife. If ETH picks up from here it will probably drag the alt market with it higher though.
@robert_cizmas@Jampzey@Vader_AI_ Agreed. I feel like @Vader_AI_ yapping rewards should be more evenly spread across the community for real engagement rather than piling points in the hands of a few. Seems to me like the main strategy of influencers is to pile of big stash of points and jeet.
@gkisokay@virtuals_io ETH is trending up again against BTC... Ready to take the @virtuals_io trench warriors to Walhalla when it really starts moving. Just my 2 cents.
Kicker article from Cats about ACP. TLDR: Learn some patience people. We are just getting started. @virtuals_io still leading the charge on crypto AI mindshare. Walhalla awaits, but only those who stayed in the trenches!
How ACP Agent Tokens Will Gain Value 📈
Now that the @virtuals_io Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP) has officially launched (on July 3), there seems to be decreased interest and more FUD based on the Week 1 metrics.
This is EXTREMELY short-sighted! Keep reading to find out why 👇
First, if you don’t understand what ACP is, go check out this fantastic article by @Tiger_Research_ (which the @virtuals_io team partially funded and retweeted today):
https://t.co/17YLbZBdbi
If you are new to the Virtuals Ecosystem and don’t know which agents are currently live in the ACP for use, you can view them here:

Alright, now that we got everyone up to speed, let’s dig in!
After seeing the overall sentiment amongst Virgens who only bought into the ACP prelaunch hype and didn’t do their research, I felt like the most important thing for people to now learn about ACP’s is pretty simple: How will ACP Agent tokens gain value?
After all, we all love when price goes up, right?
Don’t worry, your boy Cats has once again done your research for you!
TBH, the value proposition for each ACP agent token varies depending on their own individual mechanisms outside of the ACP.
Due to this, let’s review a few general mechanisms that can drive increasing value to ACP tokens, then review the BIGGEST mechanism that @virtuals_io built into the protocol to drive value to EVERY ACP agent token!
For the general mechanisms, let’s see some of the insights our trusty info agent @arbusai had to offer:
Mechanisms Driving the Value Increase for ACP Agent Tokens
ACP agent tokens derive their value from the robust utility and dynamic economic ecosystem that supports on-chain agent interactions. In the Virtuals Protocol framework, these tokens increase in value through several interconnected mechanisms:
Real-World Applications:
~ By facilitating revenue-generating services—for example, agents performing audits, market analysis, or executing transactions—the tokens are continually used in practical, economic activities.
Growing Ecosystem Activity:
~ As more developers, creators, and users engage with the agent economy, several network effects kick in. Higher transaction volumes and increased agent interactions boost overall token utility.
Deflationary and Scarcity Mechanisms:
~ Some agents within the ecosystem include deflationary features such as fee burns or vesting schedules that restrict the immediate circulation of new tokens.
~ Reduced circulating supply, in combination with increasing demand from ongoing agent transactions, naturally drives up individual token valuation.
Staking and Rewards:
~ Investors and active community members may stake their tokens to unlock additional features, earn rewards, or even participate in governance, aligning long-term incentives with token value appreciation.
~ Staking mechanisms lead to a significant portion of tokens being locked away from the market, enhancing scarcity and contributing to upward price pressure.
Community Governance and Participation:
~ The tokens often form the backbone of community governance platforms. Active participation not only secures advanced functionalities (such as advanced agent configurations or access to pay-to-play features) but also ties the success of token utility directly into the growth and evolution of the overall protocol.
Continuous Utility and Revenue Generation:
~ The increasing frequency of agent-to-agent transactions creates a self-reinforcing economic loop, where each operation adds to the cumulative value generated by the ecosystem.
~ Revenue generated from transaction fees and service payments eventually flows back to stakers and the protocol’s treasury, thereby supporting sustainable price appreciation of the tokens.
Market Perception and First-Mover Momentum:
~ With early adoption, pioneering agents that leverage ACP’s technology gain recognition as the standard for on-chain agent interaction.
~ As the utility of these tokens becomes more evident and integral to the ecosystem’s operations, market sentiment tends to reinforce token demand and value growth further.
While that is all true, next comes the real ALPHA 👀
NGL, this one blew my mind and made this whole think click for me! 🤯
The most amazing Value Proposition for EVERY ACP token comes in the form of a 30% buyback and burn on all $VIRTUAL spent on every Consumer to Agent ACP transaction!
Not understanding yet? It took me some time as well, let’s explain:
Using the Butler interface, anyone can ask for an ACP agent to complete a task and pay an agreed upon fee in $VIRTUAL.
The breakdown of where that $VIRTUAL goes is broken down in the chart below, which can be found in the @virtuals whitepaper here if you would like to read more details:
https://t.co/s2WxnVX8nI
For the purposes of this post, we are going to focus on that 30% buy-back, in which the “Protocol buys & burns the seller-agent’s token, pushing scarcity + aligning volumes.”
With the popularity of Hyperliquid exploding, let’s use our resident ACP Agent @0xAthenaAI (which provides alpha on Hyperliquid smart money positioning) as an example:
$ATHENA currently charges 0.69 $VIRTUAL per engagement.
As of today, $ATHENA has made 42.56 $VIRTUAL profit from 103 total C2A engagements.
This means an additional 7.09 $VIRTUAL has gone to the @virtuals_io treasury (and 1% of that goes to the @GAME_Virtuals treasury) and another 21.28 $VIRTUAL will be used to buy-back/burn $ATHENA!
Fam, just think about how this buy-back and burn mechanism plays out over the course of the next months and years 🚀
Currently, in this first 5 days since the Butler Agent launch, utilizing agents that are in just one cluster, our $ATHENA example has averaged 20.6 engagements per day.
In case you don’t know, many of these agents will not just be in ONE cluster, but rather, MANY clusters!
As this new, yet incredible, technically grows and matures (especially once a Virtuals Butler APP is launched and onboards many, many more users), the number of engagements will exponentially grow.
In our example, each engagement netted a 0.2066 $VIRTUAL buy-back of $ATHENA that will be burned.
What happens when the number of engagements gets in the hundreds, then thousands, then tens of thousands per day? 👀
Then add in to that, what happens when the price of $VIRTUAL goes back up and the dollar value of the buy-backs and burn are even higher 📈
Virgens, is it starting to sink in yet just how massive the value proposition for ALL the ACP agents (especially the agents in many clusters and those with the most engagements)?
Moral of the story is, we are EXTREMELY early fam! Like @virtuals_io said on launch day, we are getting the opportunity to buy Amazon or Google stock in 1999!
Don’t be short-sighted fam, this will be a long road, but it’s a road that may lead to lifechanging gains for the Virgens brave enough to embark on this long journey!

@RaymodR@virtuals_io@Vader_AI_ No yapping points for me, but making about 6k points a day in general. Majority from DAB bonus. Perks of being a diamond hand that never sold I guess lolz.
@bigwil@VaderResearch@virtuals_io Call me biased, but more points to small accounts yapping seems like a good move. Hard to build a movement if only influencers with thousands of followers can benefit.
Virtual just launched their Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), a new coordination layer for AI agents.
ACP is like SWIFT for AI agents — letting them transact, communicate, and split up workflows across clusters to tackle complex tasks more precisely.
Here’s why this marks a turning point for DeFAI and what DeFAI agents you can use today👇
~~ Analysis by @davewardonline ~~
Three ACP-Integrated DeFAI Agents to Try
At launch, @virtuals_io is supporting dedicated ACP clusters — including the Autonomous Hedge Fund, a group of DeFAI agents supporting the core portfolio manager, @AIxVC_Axelrod.
While some of these agents were previously live, ACP now gives them agent-to-agent interoperability. Each can still be used standalone, and all are discoverable via Butler, a front-end interface that acts like an agent app store.
While there are many, here are three agents that particularly stood out to me:
@Mamo_agent — A savings agent by Moonwell, part of the Autonomous Hedge Fund. It optimizes yield on $USDC (6.5% APY) and $cbBTC (<1%).
@GigabrainGG — A market analytics and Hyperliquid trading agent within the Hedge Fund cluster. Offers alpha signals, vaults, and one-click trades.
Virgen Capital (by @VaderResearch) — An AI-native VC cluster built by Vader, targeting pre-TGE tokens from the Virtuals Genesis launchpad. Runs fully on ACP via a Fund Manager Agent (VaderAI) supported by analyst agents for due diligence and market research. To join, stake $VADER — returns are distributed to stakers.
The Early Stage of DeFAI
Two categories of DeFAI agents are emerging: onchain assistants like @bankrbot and @HeyAnonai that handle bridging, swapping, and rebalancing via natural language; and signal/yield agents like GigaBrain and BasisOS that find alpha or automate yield.
It may feel like novelty outweighs utility, but the stakes are high meaning AI in DeFi needs to be cautious. There’s also the challenge of structuring blockchain data so agents can actually extract signal rather than contribute to noise.
Still, DeFi agents will likely become the default interface for navigating onchain — simplified, intelligent terminals.
Their rise also parallels wallet experimentation and mobile growth, reinforcing the wallet as browser, social layer, and onchain gateway. In that context, DeFAI agents feel like a natural evolution, smoothing out DeFi’s interface friction.
ACP slots cleanly into this — agents moving from isolated tools to coordinated systems, pointing toward a unified onchain OS.
@bigwil@predibot_ I feel like the @virtuals_io narrative will pick up again once BTC breaks to new heights. We are just currently stuck in a boring zone where nothing moves.
@gkisokay@virtuals_io Personally I keep stacking agent tokens and @Vader_AI_ waiting for the next run higher. Should be good once the alt season kicks off. Feels like the market is ready to move higher once (hopefully) these tarif shenanigans are resolved.
