Following our industrial action on 26 June, a meeting of the @RCPCHtweets Board of Trustees took place on Monday evening. We are pleased that subsequent to that meeting we received a new offer on staff pay from the College. 1/

“Unite members at the College (RCPCH) argued that management could afford to pay workers more. There’s no doubt that strike action secured better pay, more holidays and much improved family friendly policies.” @UniteSharon

The @RCPCHtweets board are meeting today to “decide” on our pay, and we call on them to engage with our reasonable demands and value their staff appropriately. This dispute can easily be resolved with a fair offer, so that we can all get back to work.
The college say that talks are continuing, but since the last offer was made on 12 May, we have not been invited to take part in any negotiations or talks. It’s been 6 weeks now with no effort from the college to work with us to resolve this dispute.
10/ If you want to show your support for fair pair for @RCPCHtweets staff, you can add you name to an open letter started by @simp91787648 https://t.co/KvTwH9dUWO /end
9/ We were blown away by the support we received at #RCPCH23 and gave away over 900 stickers with the message "I support #RCPCHstrike". Thank you so much to everyone who stopped to talk to us and to those who tweeted support from afar.
