I've personally had an NDE. [while I was religious] I did not see any bright lights, angels, jesus, relatives etc. There's nothing about that experience I can look back on as remotely religious or spiritual.

I rarely leave the house, except for groceries and medicine. On a good day it's an ordeal. Today my car wouldn't start. When I was younger, that would be a mild inconvenience. After the struggle, got going to the pharmacy who informed me they couldn't fill my scrip etc.
