It shouldn’t go unnoticed that @ZohrankMamdani - who still refuses to condemn the phrase ‘globalize the intifada’ (widely understood to mean death to Jews) - has yet to comment on the release of the hostages.
His silence speaks volumes.
Cuomo up 10 points since September, @ZohranKMamdani exactly where he was and @CurtisSliwa a tick down
The path is clear: It's a 13 point race with a month to go -- as people continue to understand this is a 2 person race, Curtis will collapse and Cuomo can win
Making a difference one vote at a time. November 4th lets come out all and vote. We need experienced leader to lead NYC @andrewcuomo@Queens_Dems@dilipnathnyc
Imagine a world where the Democratic nominee for Mayor of New York City does not have a single comprehensible plan for public safety. Well, you're in the luck, Twitterverse.
You can listen to @ZohranKMamdani say nothing over and over again, with his cotton candy plan: big, fluffy and gone the second you bite in.
You might think I'm joking, or being cute, but no, here is the verbatim transcript of his answer to a softball question on public safety:
[So I’m wondering- what would your public safety plan look like? Explain it to our viewers]:
"Absolutely, you know, prior to the West Indian Day Parade, I visited Little Caribbean, and I spoke to a number of residents in East Flatbush, who were sharing their concerns around gun violence, and I met a number of New Yorkers who were a part of the crisis management system, part of a cure violence approach to dealing with gun violence, and they told me how important it is to have a comprehensive approach to reducing gun violence and frankly rooting it out of the entirety of our city. And that it would take working with the police, working with the crisis management system, working with a cure violence approach, all of these things, to deliver that safety.”
The no-show, chameleon assemblyman owes us all 42 seconds back. It’s clear. He doesn’t have a plan. It’s admirable to go on a listening tour. But the job of the Mayor is to lead. To make things happen. And he’s incapable.
Let me tell you what my plan is. We’re going to hire 5,000 more police officers, 1,500 in the subways. To recruit and train the best and brightest to rebuild the NYPD with incentives and bonuses. This is what it's going to take. Cotton candy nonsense is not the answer. Let's build a new NYC. We can do it.
If this is the New Democratic Party, the enrollment numbers come November are going to continue to plummet, and we can forget about taking back the house
I’ve fought for low-income and working class people my whole life. And I’ve delivered.
I implemented the country’s most progressive income tax, $15 minimum wage, the strongest paid family leave, & free college tuition for the middle class
I am proud I won their vote in the primary. It’s time to build a new NYC
@andrewcuomo there is a reason why Mamdani is rising in the polls because you have one of the most worst campaign team I have seen. Despite many tries they have failed to reach the new American communities!!!
Our country and our state need moral leadership. And that takes political courage.
Today, @bradlander’s courage put a spotlight on those who need our help the most: the unseen, the unheard, the invisible, the demagogued.
And today the people stood with Brad. I was honored to be among them.
It’s hard to believe, but we are only one week away from the election! I don’t have to tell you how high the stakes are, so please make sure you have a plan to vote early or on 6/24. All the resources you need are at: https://t.co/ZOoOvwx09T
