I think by now, the noise that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot enter the United States should finally be put to rest.

This video is clear evidence that he can enter the U.S. and engage at the highest levels. There is no baggage preventing him from doing so, and the narrative that he is wanted in the United States for any crime, as some of his political rivals have sought to portray, should equally be put to rest.

If there is one thing that is undeniable, it is that Pres Tinubu is deeply committed to seeing Nigeria prosper. He is not merely talking about his vision or presenting workings on paper; his administration is actively engaging the world; building strategic partnerships, attracting investment, strengthening international cooperation and positioning Nigeria more prominently on the global stage.

Nigeria's progress cannot be achieved in isolation. It requires serious engagement with global institutions, governments, investors and strategic partners.

President Tinubu understands this, and he is putting that understanding into action.

The work continues. The engagement continues. And, ultimately, the results will speak even louder.

If it is indeed true that the person in this video is the APC governorship candidate in Gombe State and is openly campaigning for Atiku as seen in this video, then the leadership of APC must take decisive action.

A governorship candidate who cannot publicly support and market his own party's presidential candidate has no business flying the party's flag. The party should immediately review his candidacy and take appropriate disciplinary measures including expulsion if necessary, so he can openly and wholeheartedly pursue his political allegiance elsewhere.

Political loyalty and party discipline are fundamental principles that should not be compromised.

This should be a punishable offence for anyone, regardless of status, to abuse Nigeria’s national symbols in this manner.

It was Oseloka Obi, the son of Mr. @PeterObi , a man seeking to become President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The is so difficult to ignore: while the father seeks the highest office in the land, the son is openly disrespecting one of the country's revered symbols.

Should we say he was encouraged by his father or out of hate they have for the country?

What actually prompted this action? Is this the level of regard they have for the nation they claim they want to lead? Nigerians deserve answers, not silence.

Respect for national symbols is not optional. It is a basic demonstration of patriotism and respect for the country.

If Mr. Peter Obi is truly a father and genuinely has the interest of Nigeria at heart, as he often proclaims, then he should be able to publicly correct his son for publicly disrespecting a national symbol of the country.

Leadership begins with accountability, and the same standards expected of others should also apply within one's own family.

I have never heard of International election monitors monitoring elections in the US,and making public their reports on the credibility and transparency of the elections;or is it only African elections that should be monitored?
