Utah's Watershed Restoration Initiative (WRI) is a partnership based program in Utah to improve high priority watersheds throughout the state.

More than 60 partners joined us this week for our southern region WRI tour in the Upper Kanab Creek area. The group was able to compare and contrast WRI project work completed in the area from just a few years ago to many decades ago.

Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for WRI's Northern region field tour. We talked past and future treatments to reduce fuels and improve big game/sage grouse habitat on @UtahDWR and @UWCNF lands near Hardware Ranch then built beaver dam analogues on Cinnamon creek WMA.
