Hi my name is Stacy. I adopted Oliver on March 7th from the Simi Valley Shelter and we wanted to share an update on him. He has adjusted perfectly to his life at home with the family and kids.

We're excited to share that Ventura County Animal Services will be participating in the Stand Down event on Friday, August 1st, 2025. We'll be providing vaccinations, flea treatment, and deworming solution, all free-of

Poor dog came in horribly matted! When this happens we do what's called a Medical Shave, where they are placed under sedation so we can carefully cut out matts and give the dog a second chance at looking their best! This little one got adopted shortly after the procedure!

Two major pieces of equipment arrived today for our new 25-foot VCAS Mobile Vet Clinic. Once it's up and running, it will offer spay/neuter, dental care, and other vital veterinary services. Still a ways to go, but we're on track! #MobileVet #AnimalCare #VCAS
