@killersforlunch the original crysis had collisions, visually look similar to cloth sims when you walk into them.
far cry 2 had destructable foliage - if shot, it would break, you could flatten it with vehicles and destroy them at higher speeds

Select unrigged clothing > select rigged body = rigged clothing
Estimate about 80-100% of weight painting gets done for simple clothing with this operator in my upcoming #Blender3d addon.
Since weights are based on the body, they tend to be much better than armature autoweights

created a simple, but effective, carpaint style gradient effect
+ we can use a hue shift to change it, since it's just the color channel!
pink is best still tho 🦾
gotta get funky with the custom work in substance
you can switch between adding into a mask (value:1) and subtracting (value:0) - can switch on the fly with the X key!
made mostly with a circle brush - fav element in this new design
@Strange_Petals daresay it's somewhat "reasonable" - usually you get an extra update or two past the 12 months the steam versions are supposed to give you - you should have these in 23
just for anyone planning to get it, maybe wait a couple months :D
devil's in the details, and new substance tools for it are pretty dang good
paths make seams + creases (and just aout *everything*) easier,
svg import means you can import custom icons / graphics ez 🦾
