@CBellRacing suffered a fractured left wrist after an accident on lap 148 of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. After being evaluated and released from the infield care center, Bell returned home to North Carolina where X-rays confirmed the fracture.  Bell has been cleared and will be behind the wheel of the No. 20 Toyota Camry XSE this weekend at Pocono Raceway.

Another bi-modal Enhanced risk has been issued for the Northern plains and Kansas today for thunderstorms capable of powerful straight-line winds and possible tornadoes this afternoon!

Up to 70 MPH winds are possible as storms traverse the Dakotas into Nebraksa once again. Bismark, ND and Pierre, SD need to be on alert from 6-8 pm for these storms. Tornadoes, some possibly strong, are also on the table today. By 11pm-1am, storms will reach Sioux Falls posing mostly a damaging wind threat with tornadoes still possible.

Additional gusty storms are possible all the way down in Kansas where another Enhanced risk has been issued for potentially significant winds. Severe hail and gusty winds are the most prominent threats, but tornadoes are also possible.

Isolated severe storms are also possible for the Midwest/Ohio Valley where high amounts on instability will be present. Stay tuned for more updates!

June 8:🌀 Tropical Depression Two-E continues to organize over the eastern Pacific and is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm before landfall. Tropical storm conditions are expected to begin along the warning area Monday. Peak seas are near 10 ft (3 m).
