That is the reality all these Gen AI tools are trained on artists work. AI bros forget this and think their amazing prompts and the AI is acting in singularity creating their unique vision. On top of which they just trained the AI on their dime. Prior to AI what were all these amazeball ‘AI Artists’ doing?

This is the problem and the real issue in my mind. The promise of AI was to make existing mediocre tasks easier and precise. Instead it just went full throttle into replacement. I think craft will always win but artists are going to have to become very very good to swim through the oceans of AI waste.

@AndrewHodgson3D What I find interesting is that he was all in about free software and now pushes spending money on ‘credits’ with the random VC venture AI businesses. On top of that you are paying them to train their ai models.
