Don’t know who the comic is, but he was definitely gross and unfunny. The hardest thing about political satire is the difference between sharp & cruel. This was not sharp, it was cruel, the timing was off, it landed badly even with Congress supporters. When your star campaigner is going to share stage with a performer you should have checked his jokes and done a dummy run in front of mixed audiences. Now the fallout is shared by your leader. The opposition had enough jokes to crack on Dr MMS silences or Mr ABV’s pauses or Deve Gowda’s napping or Rajiv Gandhi’s fumbles but the then top opposition leaders never indulged in it. They instinctively knew. They didn’t have MBA analysts with laptops egging them on. The office of the PM is respected & you might make fun of the person in private but on public platforms the language is formal, the criticism needs to be satirical and indirect. The Jantar Mantar event seems to have misled many people to believe that India’s public language has changed across the country. It might have to some extent, granted. But they don’t want you to adopt it. From you they expect decorum. That is why you are leaders, we/they are masses.
Political differences, we can understand. But laughing at and participating in a derogatory, insulting act about the Prime Minister’s late mother is not politics, it is a failure of your upbringing.
When political opposition reaches a point where someone’s departed mother becomes a subject of mockery, the question is no longer about political ideology. It is about values, sensitivity and basic human decency.
What kind of politics celebrates an insult to a deceased mother? What happened to the most basic lessons of respect?
You may oppose PM Narendra Modi ji. You may criticise his government. But mocking his late mother and laughing along is a line no decent public discourse should cross.
India is watching. And this time, the question is not about politics. It is about your character.
With so much bitterness, you will self-destruct.
A Dead Mother Is Not a Campaign Asset.

Some lines, once crossed, do not make you brave. They only tell the country what you have run out of.
A video arrived on the feed late yesterday afternoon. It should have been forgettable — another clip, another stage, another attempt to turn politics into a skit.
It was not forgettable. Because behind the laughter sat something older and uglier than partisan rivalry: the decision to keep using a late mother’s name, face, and memory as material.
Heeraben Modi is not a slogan. She is not a character in an AI dream. She was a woman who lived ninety-nine years, raised a son the old-fashioned way, and left the world without asking to be drafted into anyone’s content calendar. To pull her back for a few seconds of applause is not fearlessness. It is poverty of argument wearing the mask of courage.
First they made a joke of the Italian Prime Minister. Then they reached for the one person who cannot answer back. That sequence is not coincidence. It is a habit. When a party cannot defeat a man on work, it tries to diminish him through the people he cannot protect anymore. That is not strategy. That is smallness with a camera.
The Leader of the Opposition is not an ordinary job. It is the second most serious chair in Indian public life. It exists so that power can be questioned with steel, not with mimicry. Rahul Gandhi holds that chair and still does not seem to feel its weight. Decorum is not feudal courtesy. Ethics are not a luxury for the winning side. They are the last proof that you are fit to ask for power at all.
It is permitted to lose elections. It is not permitted to lose the sense of what must remain untouched.
You may mock a man’s English.
You may mock his manner, his hugs, his accent, the way he walks into a room.
A democracy can survive ridicule. It begins to rot when grief is turned into theatre and a mother’s silence is treated as consent.
If even a tenth of this energy had gone into labour — the unglamorous, unfilmed, unfunny labour that actually builds a political life — the Congress might not now be explaining why its official handles look like a comedy page. Narendra Modi can be opposed. His record can be attacked. His government can be torn apart line by line. That is the work. This is the escape from work.
Cheap theatrics buy a laugh that dies in thirty seconds. Character is what remains when the clip stops trending. Congress is not being finished by its opponents.
It is finishing itself — loudly, publicly, and with a smile — by teaching the country that nothing is sacred once the crowd wants a show.
A mother is not a punchline. An office is not a stage. And a party that no longer knows the difference is not rising. It is rehearsing its own burial, one viral second at a time.

Bibi.
You survive because there is no fear.
@RahulGandhi You will never understand the emotions of Indians since you don't own desired will.
Courtiers and courtesans have brought down history's greatest empires.
And you have the right ones around you.
You were born to fade into the shadows-the ultimate destroyer of a legacy.
@pranavmahajan Rightly said

#JhootKiGoonj #Shame
Horrible and shameless don't even begin to describe this.
Rahul Gandhi brought an Instagram chhapri to Jhooth Ki Goonj event, where he disrespected PM Modi’s late mother.
This is low even by Congress’s standards. The same people who were lecturing everyone about women's rights and misogyny just days ago are now giving a stage for this shamelessness!
The Vehicles as Life Threatening Weapons on Kota Roads.
The Menace of Rash Driving by both Two and Four wheeers has somehow still not gained attention of #Kota_Police.
Don't wait for untoward to happen. At this stage no data to substantiate or putting videos here. With no fear or concern for own and others safety, people are driving reckless. Be it driving at full speed on wrong side on fly overs, wrong side overtaking, bike racing and unending..
No Traffic Police, No Awarenes or Safety Week and No Stringent Measures,
Kota Roads are becoming Well of Death.

It feels like the public is the only criminal, and only they are liable to pay fines. The administration, the municipal corporation, and the government; none of them are ever held responsible.
No rules apply to them. They are never accountable for any negligence.
Shouldn’t they be held responsible too???
Citizens must work hard, endure suffering, pay taxes, pay fines, fill the government’s coffers, and then vote them back into power!
I request everyone to share this as widely as possible, so that even those who made these rules become aware of this truth.
