$11 MILLION in false claims to Medicare and $85 MILLION in false claims to Medi-Cal.
James Shuford Price III pleaded guilty to defrauding American taxpayers and faces up to 13 years in prison and a $500,000 fine when sentenced.
Great work by @OIGatHHS, @FBI and all @WHFraudTF partners involved in taking down another bad actor.
The people who spend their every waking hour feebly attempting to discredit SecWar Hegseth are the exact same people who were happy that Mark Milley told the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party that he would keep them in the loop regarding military decisions made by President Trump.
(Which, BTW, was the most traitorous act by a serving U.S. military officer since Benedict Arnold--that's why he needed a pardon.)
Hegseth is not politicizing the military.
Hegseth is DEPOLITICIZING THE MILITARY and re-establishing civilian control over the senior officers who had lost their way.
Ro Khanna is asking whether dismantling USAID led to 4.5 million deaths.
Elon Musk and @MikeBenzCyber are focused on the lives lost, money wasted, and failures caused by USAID itself.
But USAID wasn't just an aid agency. It was a mechanism for building regime change infrastructure.
And many of the same methods have now appeared at home.
Once you recognize the pattern, you start seeing it everywhere... even in the USA. Especially in the USA.
Read my latest.
Absolutely. This is a total lie.
All DOGE did was require contact with the aid recipients to confirm that funds were being used legitimately. Anything less than this is insane!
Multiple people from USAID have been charged by the Justice Department with stealing money.
Moreover, they pled GUILTY!!

Throughout the entire Biden Administration era, the most frivolous and artificial of cases were thrown at President Trump and all we heard from the MSM was breathless coverage of how Trump was facing so many charges, he couldn't possibly survive them all.
He did. His constant (and correct) defense refrain was that he was being targeted for political reasons, which the MSM dismissed as the reason out of hand, not even worth talking about.
But now that he's President and his Justice Department is investigating and bringing charges, the MSM has changed its tune and all of the charges have magically become politically motivated retribution. Why wasn't it retribution if Trump was the target?
I was told all this in April 2020. So I knew. And because I knew I had to fight through the meanest, fiercest, stupidest deception operation in history -- a lot of it run by my colleagues in the "press," some of who were dupes, many of whom were witting accomplices.
A lot of you still watch them & read them & listen to them, hoping they'll "come around."
Turn them off forever.
They told you Obamacare would discipline the insurance giants. Force them to compete. Drive down premiums through the magic of an online marketplace with a clean government website.
Then you watched the website crash in October 2013, and you watched UnitedHealth, Aetna, and Anthem post record profits while your deductible climbed past $6,000.
Here is what the exchanges actually built. The law forced you to buy a product under penalty of the individual mandate, then handed the insurers a fountain of taxpayer cash to make the product look affordable. Premium tax credits flowed straight to the carriers, not to you. In 2017 the federal government paid roughly $42 billion in subsidies, and that money landed in corporate accounts. The cost-sharing reduction payments did the same thing. The risk corridor program promised to backstop insurer losses outright, which is to say it socialized the downside while the executives kept the upside. Guaranteed customers. Guaranteed revenue. A captive market created by statute. Any cartel in history would have killed for terms like that.
Free market economists have a plain name for this arrangement: rent-seeking. When a firm earns its money by extracting subsidies through political channels instead of by serving customers who choose freely, it stops being a business and becomes a tax farmer. The insurers lobbied for the mandate because they understood the arithmetic better than the voters did. America's Health Insurance Plans spent millions backing the bill, then acted shocked when premiums on the individual market more than doubled between 2013 and 2017 in many states. They were not the victims of the law. They wrote the parts that mattered.
Strip away the subsidy and the whole structure collapses, because the prices were never real prices. A real price emerges when a buyer who can walk away meets a seller who can lose the sale. The exchange killed both conditions. You could not walk away without a penalty, and the seller could not lose because Washington covered the gap. This is not a market. The people who keep calling it one are counting on you not noticing who cashes the check.
NORTH CAROLINA WILL BE AT THE GREAT AMERICAN STATE FAIR!
Dr. Lorie Khatod serves as the state lead for the North Carolina Pavilion at the Great American State Fair.
Dr Khatod is a native of N.C. Dr Khatod also serves as the Chief of Staff for the United States House of Representatives.
Her words:
When I learned that Governor Stein’s office had declined to participate in the Great American State Fair, I was astonished. With more than two million visitors expected, the event offers an unparalleled opportunity to promote North Carolina, support our businesses, attract tourism, and celebrate the people and industries that make our state exceptional. To forgo that opportunity during America’s 250th birthday celebration struck me as sad, shortsighted, and, quite frankly, unpatriotic.
Today, we have a pavilion that proudly tells North Carolina’s story. Our theme is “The Spirit of North Carolina: First in Flight. Fast on the Track. Strong in the Storm.” It celebrates the ingenuity, determination, and resilience that define our state—from the Wright Brothers’ historic first flight, to North Carolina’s deep racing heritage, to the remarkable response of volunteers and organizations that stepped forward during Hurricane Helene.
The pavilion showcases North Carolina’s heritage, innovation, agriculture, workforce development, and community spirit. In addition, our trailer will proudly display North Carolina’s state motto, “First in Freedom,” a reminder of the independent spirit and love of liberty that have shaped our state since its founding.
What makes me most proud is that this pavilion was not built by government bureaucracy—it was built by North Carolinians. Businesses, nonprofits, veterans, first responders, community leaders, and private citizens came together to ensure our state would be represented before millions of visitors. That collaborative spirit is the true story of North Carolina.
It is a pavilion that I believe our fellow North Carolinians will be proud to call their own.
East Germany turned human misery into foreign exchange at $96,000 per head. Socialism requires capitalism to survive.
Between 1963 and 1989, the German Democratic Republic sold 33,755 political prisoners to West Germany for hard currency. The going rate started at 40,000 Deutsche Marks per prisoner in the early years and climbed to 95,847 marks by the end. You can find the invoices in the Stasi archives today. Line items included "one dissident journalist" and "three church activists." The East German state needed every Deutschmark it could get because its command economy couldn't produce goods anyone wanted to buy.
A government so desperate for foreign currency created a production line of human trafficking with bureaucratic precision. The Stasi arrested dissidents, processed the paperwork, and shipped them west like any other export commodity. Church groups and West German officials negotiated bulk discounts. The whole operation generated $3.4 billion over three decades.
A socialist paradise that claimed to represent the workers had to sell its own citizens to the capitalist enemy to keep the lights on. East Germany couldn't manufacture anything that the world market valued except the bodies of people trying to escape socialism. Every transaction proved that their entire economic system was a fraud that survived only by parasitically extracting value from the very capitalism it claimed to oppose.
The Berlin Wall fell in 1989, but you still hear academics praise central planning and command economies today. They never mention that East Germany's most successful export program involved selling human beings by the pound to fund their workers' paradise.
Elon is not the problem…
There are 193 countries in the world and 177 of them receive US taxpayer money from Congress.
177 of 193.
Thats 91.7% of the world.
Its not Congress’s money.
Its your money, my money, our kid’s money etc.
Americans are being screwed.
Not by Elon…
Every dollar Elon Musk has made is traceable. Every product sold, every service rendered, every government contract awarded, every share of stock bought or sold. It’s all on the record.
You, on the other hand, haven’t built a company, invented a product, or created anything people willingly pay for. You’ve spent the last 14 years collecting a $174,000 Senate salary.
Yet somehow you managed to buy a luxury D.C. condo, a $4 million Victorian mansion in Cambridge, and saw your net worth balloon by 150% to $12 million. Everyone knows where Musk’s money came from. The same can’t be said for yours.
Like make 400 millionaires in a day or give America and the world a free speech platform or maybe make a vehicle that changes the world or rescue astronauts from the space station?
These people are insufferable
“Elon Musk is a trillionaire.”
As a securities law attorney, please allow me to explain how anyone who says this is basically lying to you:
1. The Securities and Exchange Commission has a myriad of laws that prevent founders and other large stockholders of publicly traded companies from dumping their shares. There are substantial holding period requirements, volume of sales limitations and public reporting obligations for stock sales. Basically, Elon holds largely illiquid shares, he is a “trillionaire” on paper only, and the best analogy is when people peg your net worth based on your home’s market price. That’s not money in your pocket, that’s the house you live in.
2. All that money raised in the IPO? That’s not going into Elon’s pocket like the lying socialist idiots want you to believe. It’s a capital influx that will be used to make more rockets and get more payloads into orbit. It’s a CAPITAL investment—that money is like a business loan, it’s not your money to keep, it’s your money to grow the business.
3. If it WERE legal for Elon to dump his shares, the share price would crash basically instantly and the company could very well fail.
If you bought SpaceX shares in the IPO, congrats. You just bought a lottery ticket, just like Elon. May the odds ever be in your favor.
So the next time someone screeches about how unfair it is that Elon Musk creates wealth that benefits all of humanity, throw the truth back in their faces.
REMINDER:
Duke Energy "loaned" 8 million to the Democrats for their Democratic National Convention in Charlotte in 2012.
Then they forgave the loan when the DNC had no money to pay it back.
