@dampedspring Agree, but wouldn’t infinite capital be worse for returns than limited capital (assuming some rational allocation to “best” opportunities)?
Most of my @United flights are good experiences but today’s #1510 was perfect. WiFi worked, easy to connect to, left on time, arrived 45 minutes early, excellent service. Shout out to Aaron for hospitality. Thank you! But not the lady who spilled her full glass of wine on me.
Sold too soon, of course, but wow. Some of these went to 35x so far. Started at 10% OTM and 50% OTM but underlying more than doubled. You only have to be partly correct, and willing to go to zero.
@dampedspring@MattHdeJonge Best wishes. Today is my first morning with hearing aids and I got Oticon. I have a consultation later with Fortell and am curious to learn more as it seems the technology and industry structure is LONG overdue for innovation. The insurance and distribution hurdles are insane
@TidefallCapital Babbel Live was a beautiful thing for a couple of years. One teacher + up to 6 students on Zoom for an hour. They screwed up the pricing and killed it off, but that is the model that is worth a subscription. They should just figure out the $ and bring it back.
@CaneTigger@united And if someone in your family had asthma triggered by allergies? Maybe people rank higher than pets here. The issue is there really is no plan to accommodate both. I used to take my dogs everywhere, but I drove. Agree, never know who you will sit by.
@Broker_Lady@Justin_4America@united ...and allergies trigger asthma events, so it's a valid question of how does the airline balance the tradeoffs here.
@Justin_4America@Broker_Lady@united Sure man, everyone bring a pet. I'll bring a live chicken in a cage for dinner with the folks. Airlines used to try to be more than a bus, but the lines are crossing.
