Vandy Nance

One of the few, the proud, and the long-tortured Vandy fans

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@AdamSparks @joerexrode @AlexDaugherty1 @TeresaMWalker Respectfully, have you considered that VANDY fans might have experiences pertinent to understanding this issue? X is not a random sample of fans, but at minimum, a strong contingency is at peace with Jared Curtis focusing on more important pursuits.

@TheBorisBecker October 1985 Tokyo Indoor semis: Lendl def Becker 6-3, 7-6, prior to Becker’s 1986 triumph. What am I missing?

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@joey_dwy Questionable to play or to speak to the local “journalists?”

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@comradCornelius The “journalists” couldn’t wait to print what Pavia would say and are sour that the current scenario is more tight lipped.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@GhostOfWoody The “journalists” think it’s about them. Sure, let’s ask Jared Curtis to answer some questions because of an arbitrary star rating, rather than sticking to a pragmatic team procedure.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@Scouting_Col Bryce Drew ahead of a middle of the pack Mark Byington is rich (and I don’t mean Bob Richey).

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@bbnrj5 @IH8JeffreyMaier @tjmcaulay Probably would have scored from the 1 foot line against nc state. And even accepting your logic, the dead time at the end of the 3rd quarter would have simply been a bit less.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@bbnrj5 @IH8JeffreyMaier @tjmcaulay Clearly the 22 minutes remaining would have progressed identically had this call added one play to the middle of the 3rd quarter 😂.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@nashvegas__ @vandyfan05 I like that comp for Jared Curtis and hope it plays out that way. He reminds me of Will Levis, but I’ll happily blame that on recency and location bias.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@joey_dwy @VandyOnSI Thanks Joey. You might check the J Wash stats (e.g., 8.9 points, 5.6 rbounds last season).

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@CJMooreHoops @joerexrode Loaded VANDY team with top Tyler Tanner and top echelon coach Mark Byington come in at #24?! Might as well let the disrespect start about as early as usual for the Commodores…

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@GattoBaby AK Okereke, stay tuned

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@TennisPublisher @usopen 100% chance Wawrinka (the former champ and one of the best ever) get a WC if needed to play his final US open.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@PatrickMcEnroe @UVAMensTennis @TexasMTN @TCUMensTennis @WakeMTennis Agree, great matches in Athens. Such a high and entertaining level. So glad college tennis recognizes the global nature of the sport and does not restrict rosters based on the nationalities of the players.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

In partnership with Storyland Studios, Nate Bargatze has agreed to a gold rollercoaster at Nateland named The Tyler
Tanner, with undisclosed royalties to Tanner, to sweeten his NIL deal and return to VANDY basketball. Similar situation unfolding for Jared Curtis. @natebargatze

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@kurt13warner Knee replacements?

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@vandy_62 @KennyJRobertsGA @danbenz08 I agree, roster needs a shooter (even assuming Tyler Tanner returns). Okereke, Tanner, Miles, and McGlockton all got great looks because defenses were chasing Tyler Nickel. Nickel’s % dropped to 40% due to late drought, but he took lots of contested shots and opened many options.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@PatrickMcEnroe Tennis is a global game, and the best juniors and college players are not American.

[Vandy Nance @VandyNance]

@CJDexSports alex wilkins comp may be jason edwards. Couple inches taller and passes even less. Middle of the end for mark pope.
