My GDC talk is up! It's about the world of Baby Steps, working with what's given, and asking open questions with level design: https://t.co/wYmEC7wN4U...
@RobinPoedev This is literally what happened with Retro's canceled Zelda game. And then decades later the design documents got leaked and everyone realized why it was canceled lol.
@PhiDXGames I hope NA vs EU happens like a week after season 2 drops.
We saw Korea and Pakistan face off in a version of the game they were very comfortable with. It'd be fun to contrast that with a frantic post-patch scrap between NA and EU.
@Gamechamp3k That's not even what happens in The Devil Went Down To Georgia. Johnny is already a better fiddle player than the devil before the story even starts.
TDWDTG is a subversion of an already existing folktale, one that's older than your grandpa. https://t.co/2FZzs8vLOu
@ArmadaUGS The changes are pretty sensible if you have basic reading comprehension and understand what the goal of this patch was. But looking at a character's changes and seeing only nerfs feels pretty bad. They could have thrown in some small charity buffs to lessen that feeling.
@TSM_Leffen Frame Advance and Save States are common debug tools, and probably already existed in some form during the game's development.
Dummy behavior is not really useful for debugging since there are better ways to test player inputs. So it makes sense that they haven't coded it yet.
Gotta unfollow all political folks for a while. I'm tired of scrolling through my timeline and regularly seeing somebody qrt-dunking the most racist thing I've ever heard in my life (so far) (for the third time this week)
@ScrubQuotesX I'm not justifying disconnecting during online play (in any game), but I'm not surprised that DBD, a game where you get incapacitated for minutes at a time and can't do anything until a teammate comes to rescue you, has a ragequit problem.
@TeamYouTube@Lythero It's insane that a social media manager of a major corporation is regularly getting roped into doing tier 1 tech support because the actual support department is either incompetent or doesn't exist.
