@SnazzyQ @speedycyclist Although this gun has a two stage trigger, the small middle piece is the trigger lock designed to lock the trigger so it doesn’t accidentally fire. When both pieces (trigger and safety) is depressed the gun unlocks. Almost all striker fire pistols have this safety mechanism.
