I had a traumatic train ride today. It is very sad to see how people do not respect public spaces enough. When we are in the public, we should not shout or even talk loudly and disrespect every individual’s personal space in Public. As artists, we have a 100 thoughts running. And we thrive in silence. Everyone can understand the initial excitement when travelling in a big group in a train. But imagine a group of 40 middle aged adults occupying a 56 seater coach and talking so loudly to everyone for 5 hours. Non stop. Problem in India is nobody can question them. It is an unsaid rule that the other 16 of us which aren’t part of the group should simply endure them. So I requested the TTE if I could get another seat in a different coach. He tried but unfortunately since the train was full, I had to simply stay in the same coach but a different seat. Suddenly a group of 8, that was already yapping and laughing non stop, started playing UNO. And then I requested the TTE if anything could be done. He requested them to stop and they immediately stopped. But after a couple of minutes TTE came back and mockingly asked them ‘yaake sir galaatte maadtaideera?’ (Why are you creating nuisance?) and they had a good laugh with him and said, ‘sir Neevu banni, adona’(Sir you also join, let’s play). So the concern here is not about who won. Myself, along with them, as Indians, lost the Civic sense game. When will we as a nation improve our public behaviour?

Dear @narendramodi Ji,
I am writing this not as someone opposing the system, but as a small entrepreneur who genuinely wants to build a successful business in India. 🇮🇳
First, I sincerely thank you for UPI and Digital India. What India has achieved with UPI is extraordinary. Today, even a small business can accept payments instantly from anywhere in the country. This is the New India we are proud of.
But I would like to share the reality faced by technology, hardware and other low-margin businesses like mine.
Consider a simple example:
Laptop Selling Price: ₹80,000
Purchase Price: ₹77,500
Gross Margin: ₹2,500
Now, a ₹300 payment charge may appear small compared with an ₹80,000 transaction.
But for the business:
₹300 = 12% of the entire ₹2,500 margin.
And this is only one cost.
If a small business manages to generate around ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 in monthly margin, it still has to bear:
• UPI MDR / payment charges
• POS & Card MDR / processing charges
• GST on applicable payment/service charges
• Bank and account maintenance charges
• Rent
• Electricity
• Internet, software & accounting
• Transportation and other basic operating expenses
So the ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 margin is not ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 in the entrepreneur's pocket.
But Sometimes that Can be a 10,000 - 15,000/- Profit Per Month Due to Price Hike across all Digital Hardwares and the PC Market is shallow nowadays.
It is what keeps the business running.
A business may generate ₹10 lakh in monthly turnover, but after purchasing the products, the actual margin may still be only ₹30,000 - ₹40,000.
Turnover looks big.
Margins are small.
Expenses are real.
And Modiji, I also understand the Government's perspective.
Nothing comes free.
UPI requires servers, cybersecurity, data centres, payment infrastructure and continuous technological investment. As the world moves rapidly towards AI, semiconductors and digital infrastructure, I completely understand India's need to build and maintain this ecosystem.
I am not against contributing to the nation.
In fact, I voluntarily accepted GST registration and its responsibilities even when my business was small and Below the Threshold. I did so because I believe that if India gives us the opportunity to build, we must also contribute to India.
And when I become a self - sufficient and successful businessman and my taxable income crosses the applicable threshold, I will proudly pay my Income Tax.
Because I don't want to simply take from India.
I want to build in India.
I want to grow in India.
I want to contribute to India. 🇮🇳
My humble request is simply this:
Please consider the actual margin of a business, not just the transaction value.
For a large, high margin business, Manufacturers, Hotel's, etc ₹300 may be manageable.
For someone earning only ₹2,500 on an ₹80,000 laptop, ₹300 is 12% of the entire margin.
That difference is enormous for a small entrepreneur.
If ₹25,000 crore needs to be mobilised to support this ecosystem, I have faith that our Government can find innovative alternatives to raise it without placing disproportionate pressure on low-margin MSMEs.
You have shown India that things once considered impossible can become reality.
So I sincerely hope that a solution can be found where:
🇮🇳 UPI remains strong
🇮🇳 Digital India continues to grow
🇮🇳 Our digital infrastructure gets the funding it needs
🇮🇳 MSMEs remain sustainable
🇮🇳 Young entrepreneurs get the opportunity to grow
I am not asking for everything to be free.
I am asking for a fair and sustainable system that understands the difference between turnover and profit.
Behind every small MSME is someone who invested their savings, took a risk, works every day and carries the hope of building something of their own.
I am one of those people.
I remain, as always, a proud Karyakartha, a proud Indian and a proud nationalist. 🇮🇳
I believe in your vision !
I Belive in Viksit Barath !
Jai Hind !

One morning a man called a taxi company and complained that a cab he ordered to take him to the airport had not arrived.
The girl who took the call apologized, "l am very sorry the cab isn't there yet, Sir," she said. "But don't worry, the plane is already late"
The caller said sharply, "l happen to be the pilot."

I like seeing Liver get roasted on a topic that is well outside his comfort zone.
But putting that aside - Liver has plenty of time to highlight the supposed drawbacks of Ayurveda, while an audience already inclined to agree readily amplifies the narrative.
Many people don’t bother responding for two reasons:
⚡️They don’t have the time or see it as a priority to catalog the shortcomings of modern medicine. Turn a medicine bottle around and you’ll find a long list of potential side effects. Yet nobody concludes that modern medicine is therefore "pseudoscience."
⚡️Many people simply believe in a balanced approach. They are open to Ayurveda/Siddha and modern medicine, depending on the situation.

Modern marriage is facing a structural crisis because people want traditional benefits without traditional commitments.
Men want the loyalty, respect, and support of a traditional wife, but refuse to carry the heavy burdens of full provision and protection. Women want the lifestyle, security, and sacrifice of a traditional husband, but refuse to yield to his leadership or bring peace to the home.
You cannot run a 1950s household dynamic on a 2026 single-person mindset.
A successful marriage requires an exchange of value: if a man brings 100% of the stability, a woman must bring 100% of the cooperation. Anything less is just a bad business deal bound for bankruptcy.

As an empty nester, I’ll tell you this…
Your children eventually build lives that don’t revolve around you.
They grow up.
They build careers.
They fall in love.
They make their own friends, routines, traditions, and families.
And that’s exactly what you raised them to do.
But while you’re helping them build a life of their own, make sure you’ve built one that doesn’t revolve around them.
Keep your friendships.
Take care of your relationship.
Have hobbies that belong to you.
Learn something you’ve always wanted to learn.
Travel when you can.
Set goals that have nothing to do with your children.
Because one day, the house may become quieter.
They may call less often.
They may spend holidays somewhere else.
They may need your advice less than they used to.
That doesn’t mean you’re no longer important.
It means you succeeded in raising someone who can stand on their own.
Parenthood is a chapter of your life—not the entire book.
Love your children deeply.
Be there for them.
But don’t put your entire identity, happiness, and purpose inside their lives.
They need a life of their own.
And so do you.

To the One Who Turned Me Inward;
For Sadhguru, on his birthday
I came looking for answers,
you handed me a mirror.
I came asking for a path,
you said;
walk inward.
I thought freedom meant
changing the world around me.
You showed me a freedom
no circumstance could touch.
You did not ask me to believe.
You asked me to experience.
You did not promise me heaven.
You taught me how to make
this very life divine.
Somewhere between
your laughter and your silence,
your fierce words
and that unfathomable stillness,
something in me began to loosen;
the fears I had protected,
the identities I had collected,
the wounds I had called mine.
And slowly I understood:
A Guru does not come
to make life comfortable.
He comes like a fire;
burning away everything false
until only truth remains.
How does one wish
“Happy Birthday”
to someone who taught us
that life itself is the celebration?
Perhaps the only offering
a seeker can make
is to become a little more willing,
a little more conscious,
a little less entangled
with each passing day.
So today, I celebrate not only
the day you were born,
but every life that turned inward,
every heart that discovered devotion,
and every seeker who tasted
a little more freedom because of you.
May we never reduce your work
to words we admire.
May we live it.
Happy Birthday, Sadhguru. 🙏
For all that you have spoken,
and for everything you have transmitted
without saying a word;
Pranam at your feet. 🙏
