PS— At the Story Board, you shall find research, ideas, stories, and thoughts that have made it out of my Scratch Pad and onto the Story Board. Topics include but are not limited to tech, culture, short stories, VC, the India Story, philosophical explorations, economics, & more.
If you barely know what any of the concepts mean, that’s perfect because you can treat it as a fun 101. Strap in for a light, informative read and I'd love to know your thoughts, feedback, or any discussions this piece sparks.
In the essay I explore 1️⃣ the components that make up this digital stack, 2️⃣ the history, philosophy, and architecture behind the decade-long ambition, 3️⃣ the drivers for widespread adoption and massive scale, and 4️⃣ the impact this has created for the Indian population.

Going to sound like everyone else fangirling over the digitization in India, BUT
In Bangalore and just bought flowers on the road from this little girl using UPI because I didn’t have cash.
Truly in awe 🫢🌹

stop gaslighting people of color when they tell you the hiring market is rigged against them. stop saying lack of diversity is a pipeline problem or "just hiring who's best for the job". this is much bigger than whatever recruiter accidentally posted this publicly.

Friends are good for your health.
In case you thought that wasn’t a major concern because you’re an alpha-sigma-giga-lone-chad-wolf who don’t need no one around them…
“By far the biggest medical surprise of the past decade has been the extraordinary number of studies showing that the single biggest predictor of your psychological and physical health and wellbeing is simply the number and quality of close friendships you have.
By comparison, all the traditional factors that your doctor usually worries about on your behalf make only modest contributions.”

Wow. Really @WSJ ?
"I'm not saying 12 white men would have avoided this mess, but the company may have been distracted by diversity demands"
