Erivan sokaklarında büyük sevgi ve saygı görüyorum. İlgiden çok zaman gideceğim yerlere geç kalıyorum. Bu provokatör gibiler Ermenistan’da son derece marjinalleşti. Her gün Türkiye’den uçaklar dolusu vatandaşımız Ermenistan’a gelip keyfini çıkarıyor. Hepinize tavsiye ederim.
Türkiye-Ermenistan sınırını bir an önce açıp halkların tanışmasını hızlandırırsak bu önyargıların önemli oranda azalacağını düşünüyorum.
@HaberReport Kadın madem o kadar ermeni milliyetçisi, TBMM de soykırım kurbanlarının tek tek fotoğrafını paylaşan koca TC ye kafa tutan adamı tanımaktan aciz. Cahil her yerde cahil kalacaktır. Milliyetçilik hiç bi fifiye yaramaz. Paylan gülüp geçer böyle olayları.

✝️🇦🇲 Odzun Monastery is one of the most beautiful and best-preserved examples of early medieval #Armenian#Christian architecture located in #Armenia.
It is a three-nave domed basilica built of warm pink felsite stone.
The first Church structure on this site appeared in the 6th century (some sources mention possible earlier foundations in the 4th–5th centuries).
In the 8th century, it was comprehensively reconstructed by Catholicos Hovhannes III Odznetsi (Hovhannes Imastaser, 717–728), a prominent theologian and native of Odzun. This reconstruction gave the monastery its current form.
The monastery features a rectangular exterior with a three-nave interior (the side naves are notably narrow). The roof is barrel-vaulted, and the central dome (tambour) is supported by four columns with a ribbed vault, plus two additional columns in the western part.
A distinctive feature is the unusual arcaded cloisters (open galleries) on the northern and southern sides - rare in Armenian architecture. The northern one is partially lost, while the western side has a blind wall with a central arched entrance. Two small bell towers were added to the eastern façade in the 19th century.
The façades are richly decorated with relief carvings:
· On the eastern façade, above the central window: a carving of Christ holding the Gospel of St. John, flanked by two angels.
· On the southern façade: angels and traces of another figure (likely Christ).
Inside, there are high columns, round arches, narrow windows, and reliefs with Christian motifs and grapevine (vine-scroll) ornaments.
Odzun Monastery remains an active place of worship and a highlight of Armenian cultural heritage, remarkable for preserving much of its early medieval character.
For years, Armenia's MediaNews has published content from fake social media accounts that either support Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan or target opposition parties. There has been a tenfold increase of such disinformation before June 7 elections. https://t.co/RmsvzsaIhU

In 1918, 108 years ago today, in the aftermath of the Armenian Genocide which martyred 1.5 million men, women, and children at the hands of the Ottoman Empire, we fought. We fought against overwhelming odds, we won, and we restored our national dignity with the establishment of the First Republic of Armenia.
We have endured a lot as a people in the past few years, we have lost a great deal, and we have to acknowledge our defeats if we are to pave the long and arduous road to victory. Let this be a reminder, to all Armenians, that hope shines brightest in the darkest moments, and with it, the will of our people.
Long live Armenia! Long live the Armenian people!
The most normal thing in LA is, like, a Korean/Armenian fusion restaurant with an entirely Salvadoran back-of-house staff. Living there absolutely destroys your appetite for strict ideas about cultural diffusion.
No one on the ground gives a shit, and the food is fantastic.
There's a lot of talk about Russian meddling in Armenia's election and certainly Putin has vaguely indicated his sympathy for pro-Russian opposition, but here you have the president of the United States openly endorsing Pashinyan for re-election. How's that for foreign meddling?
Former Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh Davit Ishkhanyan has released a new message from Baku prison through his family, describing the proceedings against him as “a fully controlled, censored trial of retribution.”
Ishkhanyan rejected Azerbaijani claims of a “fair, free, and open trial,” calling them fiction aimed at deceiving both the international community and Azerbaijani society through state-controlled media.
According to Ishkhanyan, a preliminary hearing was held on May 27 at the Baku Court of Appeals over the appeal of the February 5 verdict issued by the Baku Military Court. The first main hearing is scheduled for June 2.
He said neither the defense nor the prosecution has received the full text of the verdict, only excerpts. The court also rejected his motion requesting complete copies of both the verdict and the indictment.
“During the trial ongoing since December 17, 2024, even the defense side has not received the indictment,” Ishkhanyan stated.
He also said the court refused his renewed request for open hearings and online broadcasting.
Ishkhanyan, who has been held hostage in Baku since October 2023 following Azerbaijan’s military assault and the forced displacement of Artsakh’s Armenian population, warned that the case is directed not only against the Armenian hostages, but against the Armenian people and Armenian statehood as a whole.
The statement follows his earlier voice appeal for international attention to the Armenian hostages held in Azerbaijan and comes amid growing criticism from their families. Earlier, Ishkhanyan appealed to Armenia’s Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan for intervention, while his son Armen Ishkhanyan later accused both the Ombudswoman’s office and Pashinyan’s government of failing to take meaningful action.
Families have also warned of worsening isolation after the suspension of ICRC operations in Azerbaijan, saying communication, independent monitoring, and the transfer of food, medicine, and basic supplies have been severely restricted.
Toy Story 5 to Introduce a Half-Armenian Character Named Blaze Manoukian 🇦🇲

Toy Story 5 is set to introduce a new character named Blaze Manoukian, who is half-Armenian and half-Black, as first reported by the Armenian Film Society. The character was unveiled during an exclusive early preview event at Disneyland.
Blaze Manoukian is a confident and independent eight-year-old girl who loves animals. She is voiced by Mykal-Michelle Harris and plays a pivotal role in Jessie's storyline.
Speaking to TheGrio, co-director Kenna Harris described how the character originated. "Bonnie is dealing with some loneliness and wants to connect with others in the film, so the first idea was just like, who is an aspirational character that we'll just be like, 'Yes, Bonnie, go be her friend,'" she said.
Inside Pixar, Blaze quickly became a favorite. Harris credited character designer Matt Nolte with shaping her. "Matt Nolte, one of our character designers, came up with this lovely design of Blaze. She's Black, she's half Armenian. She has this gorgeous curly hair," she said. "Immediately, we were just off to the races with the tech, because that kind of hair texture was a little bit new to the Pixar studio, but luckily we had a lovely culture trust of Black colleagues at the studio who were keeping us honest and making sure that Blaze looked as fantastic as she could. She's one of my favorite characters now. She's so awesome."
Designing Blaze also led Pixar to develop new animation technology capable of accurately rendering tightly coiled hair, which the studio considers a technical milestone.
Producer Lindsey Collins said Blaze drew a strong response in audience previews. "She's actually everybody's favorite. We previewed it with audiences. She was like number two. It was Jessie and then Blaze as the favorite character," she said. "It was parents who were like, 'I just want my kid to have a friend like Blaze.'"
Toy Story 5 is scheduled for release in theaters on June 19, 2026.
