@MarioNawfal Good old create a problem and have a solution ready for the problem you created in the first place 🤣🤣. Then call it innovation and capitalism but I need help from government with subsidies etc...
@FreightAlley If it continues this week, then you will see it in tender rejection as well because we carriers might start rejecting direct customer freight to start hauling these great paying spot rates...
@FreightAlley Reason it doesn't show up is because non domicile cdl trucking companies typically run only spot freight. They do not have regular direct customer lanes. For example, our main customer vets about 30 carriers thst bid lanes for 12 month period. These are legit carriers...
@FreightAlley Non domicile carriers leaving increases spot market rate, not the direct shipper to carriers. At least not right away, since spot market rates still lag and are too cheap compared to my direct shipper rate.
@FreightAlley@BenMelton16@Logisticsexpert Shipper has about 30+ carriers servicing various lanes. About 10 have been let go in past 2 months while the annual bid has ongoing. This causes tenders to fall next carrier in line, but in a lot of cases carriers reject it because they didn't plan for the influx of freight.
@hellbenthagen Same with us in regards to first 9 months. But we felt worse was march-april, but that doesn't mean it was a good year either...Still way too many trucks active in the industry...
