Reading @GmanPoker's book. Interesting so far. Nothing too deep yet, but it does bug me that he references 9 handed Party Poker SNGs. Stars was 9-handed, Party was 10 handed in the early 2000s!
@devahaz "DYOR" from smart people tilts me so hard. I've prob got 130 IQ and infinite free time and even I can barely keep up with the couple of things I'm an 'expert' at, I just don't have space in my brain to know what's truly getting microplastics in my balls, sorry
@EVbetsKS The real lesson is going to come when he wins the bet but the other kid won't pay / doesn't have the money / says their mom won't let them etc and there's no enforcement mechanism because people will say the kids shouldn't be betting
Big day for the fake entry. Ecuador beats Germany to advance as a #3. Bosnia likely through as a #3. Japan through as either a 2 or 3 depending on the game vs Sweeden. Any more points for Algeria and we advance without using any teams who will be favorites next round.

The 38 person Gateway Open Backgammon tournament had not 1 but 2 streams this weekend. Seems absurd that @WSOP can't have a stream for the PPC somewhere even if they want to have the Milly Maker on main.
@SurvivorAtlas Ends up with a lot of Turkey/USA picks in R32 as you expect them to lose to Belgium in R16 after dispatching the #3. USA in R32 definitely feels like the chalk here.
@SurvivorAtlas Fun contest info. Geo-locked out of it, but I think you don't pick any ADGL group teams in the group stages because you want to pick the one of the A/L winners and one of the D/G winners in the round of 32 as they play a #3 and match another #1 in the R16
This sounds almost too good to be true. Estimated about $1200/person added money for someone playing a reasonably full schedule. If only flights to Uzbekistan didn't take 24 hours and cost $2k+
@TomDwan What about people organizing to keep each other safe scares you? This is how a society is supposed to react. Are you more scared by the wine moms organizing or the well-funded, armed, masked men being organized?
@devahaz@electionsjoe yea but this guy is from Nebraska with a name similar to a former Husker football coach so he has some decent baseline low-information support
