@JDVance The key there is “legitimate power.” Just because you think the Executive should have certain powers does not make it so. The Constitution outlines the powers of the exec branch in Article II. I suggest reading it. We have a little something called checks and balances.

I would ask that everyone take five minutes of their day and watch this. Just five minutes. And consider what is being said here. His entire life has been thrown upside down for his efforts to protect our nation. Surely you can do something as simple as hear him out.

I’m ashamed that so many in my spiritual family put this man in power. Ashamed by the approval of deceit, injustice, and retribution, by the celebration of an amoral man. Most especially, I’m ashamed that my Lord’s name has been dragged into it.
