@pnwguerrilla False correlation. You just found the bottle, but you have seen ads for the bottles before and will see them again. Because you just found your bottle you believe seeing the ad is significant and unique. It isn't. And asking "simulation or thought-reading" is a binary fallacy.
That towel move is a real physical therapy technique called a self SNAG, and the speed of the relief tells you something most people never learn about their own neck. Muscle tissue takes weeks of loading to actually lengthen. So when stiffness vanishes in a few seconds, the muscle was never what changed.
What changed is the signal your brain was sending to it.
The small facet joints stacked down the back of your neck sit at roughly a 45 degree angle. When one of them gets irritated or stops gliding smoothly, your brain protects it by clamping down the surrounding muscles. That clamp is the stiffness you feel. The tissue underneath is usually fine, it's just being held under orders.
The towel edge hooks under one vertebra. When you pull forward and up along that 45 degree joint plane while turning your head, you glide the joint through the exact motion it was refusing, with support the whole way. Your brain gets live evidence the movement is safe and drops the clamp. Physical therapists do the same glide with their thumbs and call it a SNAG, short for sustained natural apophyseal glide. Brian Mulligan, the New Zealand physio who developed the method in the 1980s, designed the towel version specifically so patients could run it on themselves at home.
Which is why years of stretching can lose to thirty seconds with a towel. A stretch tries to overpower the brain's grip. A glide convinces it to let go.
McAfee was a trip - he used to live near my shop in Portland, OR and I'd see him at 7-eleven all the time. He always had at least two hookers with him. Different ones each time. He brought a computer in for us to repair once and we had a laugh that it was running AVG antivirus.
He absolutely refused to show up at normal business hours. He showed up with his desktop computer at 7pm, saw we were still there, and banged on the window until we let him in. After we told him the computer was fixed a few days later he showed up an hour before the shop opened and sat in front of the door until one of my employees showed up. He yelled "How much to get the computer early?!" at him and proceeded to unroll a wad of $100 dollar bills and just started tossing them at my guy like he was a stripper. My employee went in and got the computer and McAfee threw a few more $100's at him and then just grabbed the computer and ran down the street with it like a lunatic. True story.
idk who needs to hear this but seek souls. larger, more powerful souls. seek the king, that is the only way. lest this land swallow you whole as it has so many others
“It’s an open investigation, so I can’t divulge that information.”
James Freeman does the one thing cops and government employees absolutely cannot handle: he talks to them exactly the way they talk to us. Watch how fast they melt down the moment the script flips.
Nice job de-escalating the situation. Never press an armed senior with nothing left to lose, someone who feels their life is already behind them has nothing holding them back.
