@nahdo4_@SwpYoung@15R34L@esidery That’s why I said “almost”, Ajay was definitely better in Game 4 and I would let you argue game 3, but Chet’s offensive impact and defensive impact easily made him the best player in the series over the stretch of those first 3 games
@_fbrwn@TheWestbrookEra@BazHoopz@russwest44 What did I get wrong? And you’re acting like those series were outliers and Westbrook wasn’t taking awful shots and throwing ill advised turnovers with Kevin Durant on his team. Westbrook has always been that player, it’s just way worse when he’s the 1st option in the playoffs
@_fbrwn@TheWestbrookEra@BazHoopz@russwest44 He was way more inefficient, had way more turnovers and constantly got fried on defense both series. In the Portland series he averaged 20 points on 30% shooting, in the Jazz series had 8 assists a game while turning it over 5 times a game. He also let Rubio drop a triple double
@_fbrwn@TheWestbrookEra@BazHoopz@russwest44 If 26 ppg with 9 assists against defensive coverages Russ has never seen before was enough to make you think about how Russ is better, go back and watch the 2018 series vs the Jazz and the 2019 series vs Portland and it will make you feel different.
@SewellJaworski@SamQuinnCBS He had a bad series, let’s not act like he’s not worth a max contract. He’s a top 3 defender in the nba with the ability to knock down 3s as a big and he’s only 24. He definitely had a bad series and has some things he needs to work on, but every team in the NBA would take him
@_Lordasante@UnderdogNBA That is brain dead logic. The 73-9 warriors lost to a lakers team that ended up getting the second pick in the draft, every team is going to have bad nights.Thunder have every right to feel like they’re beatable because they took them to 7 without their 2nd and 4th best players
@KeyboardMVP@TheWestbrookEra You can’t just negate that he played like ass because the other players also played like ass. What if the reason his teammates couldn’t get going was because he was turning the ball over and throwing up bricks? And he did get bitched, he let Rubio drop a 30 point triple double
@KuKhahil He’s definitely not getting traded. Sam Presti is probably the most stubborn GM in the sport and they are going to take in the fact that Jdub and Ajay were injured so there’s no reason to shake it up
@KeyboardMVP@TheWestbrookEra 29 ppg on 39% shooting while turning the ball over 5 times a game is considered “getting his”. He was literally getting bitched by Ricky Rubio that whole series
@JBellSATX@DonHarris4 He definitely should be suspended, what he did was violent and dirty. If he’s not punished he will feel like he can do it again and end up hurting someone very badly
@harperhoops2@AndrewKSchlecht You are using “50th education camp” as an insult and you have some pretty bad grammar. Before you use that insult make sure that it looks you typed out a English sentence and not a sentence in a foreign language that you placed into a translator
