広東省の大学に通う19歳の女子大生が、タイの伝統行事「ソンクラーン（水かけ祭り）」に参加するために訪タイした際、巧妙な罠にかかりミャンマーの犯罪グループに売却されるという衝撃的な事件が発生しました。家族は要求された多額の身代金を支払いましたが、犯人側は約束を反故にし、現在も解放を拒み続けています。

▪️ 1年前から仕掛けられた「友情」という名の罠
被害に遭ったのは、広東省内のある大学に通う1年生の小陽（仮名）さんです。事件の端緒は、彼女が1年前のタイ旅行中に知り合った一人の女性でした。この女性はその後も小陽さんと連絡を取り続け、信頼関係を構築していました。
小陽さんは今年4月、この女性から「一緒にソンクラーンを祝おう」と熱心な招待を受け、家族に詳細を告げないまま、4月10日に広州白雲国際空港からバンコクへと飛び立ちました。4月15日の帰国便も予約済みであり、当初はごく一般的な短期個人旅行のはずでした。

▪️ 空港到着直後の拘束と不法入国
4月10日にタイの空港に到着した直後、事態は暗転しました。空港には招待主の女性ではなく、見知らぬ男が「迎え」として現れました。小陽さんは警戒することなく用意された車に乗り込みましたが、直後に自由を奪われ、監禁状態に陥りました。
その後、彼女は数日間にわたり不眠不休で連れ回され、船や険しい山道を越えるルートで、タイ国境からミャンマー国内へと不法に連行されました。彼女が拘束されている場所は、ミャンマー南東部カレン州にあるオンライン詐欺拠点であると特定されています。

▪️ 身代金20万元の支払いと、重なる裏切り
4月13日未明、小陽さんは監視の目を盗んで親友にSOSを送信し、これによって事件が発覚しました。犯人グループは家族に対し、小陽さんを別の拠点へ「転売」することを示唆して脅迫し、身代金として3万USDT（約450万円相当）を要求しました。

「期限内に支払わなければ、二度と娘には会えない。さらに過酷な拠点へ売り飛ばすことになる」

卑劣な脅迫を受けた父親は、親族から借金をするなどして資金を工面し、4月13日午後に指定された仮想通貨口座へ全額を振り込みました。しかし、入金を確認した後も犯人グループは「祭りで道路が封鎖されている」「手続きに時間がかかる」といった不自然な理由を並べ立て、解放を5度にわたり延期しました。現在も小陽さんは園区内で厳重な監視下に置かれており、自由を奪われています。

▪️ 警察の立案と世論の拡大
広州市公安局白雲分局は4月15日までに「不法監禁事件」として正式に捜査を開始しました。大学側も広東省公安庁および教育庁に対し、公式な支援要請を行っています。事件がSNSや主要メディアで拡散され、国際的な注目が集まったことを受け、拠点側の態度に変化の兆しが見え始めています。一部の報道によれば、犯人側は「これ以上騒ぎを大きくしたくない」として解放に応じる構えを見せていますが、現時点で小陽さんが無事に保護されたという確定的な事後報告は届いていません。

▪️ 未解決の現状と高まる警鐘

Chinese Student Lured to Bangkok for Songkran, Sold to a Myanmar Compound Within 48 Hours

A 19-year-old first-year university student from Guangdong flew from Guangzhou to Bangkok on April 10 for Songkran. Round trip, return booked April 15. She'd been invited by a woman she met online, who had been to Thailand in January.

The friend never showed at the airport. A stranger took her instead. Two days later she was across the Myanmar border in the Three Pagodas area opposite Kanchanaburi, sold into a scam compound. Captors told the family they'd bought her for 29,000 USDT and wanted 30,000 to let her go. They threatened gang rape if the family didn't pay. On April 13 the father transferred 30,000 USDT, around 210,000 yuan or $30,000.

Then the stalling. April 16, captors said roads were closed. April 18, the pickup car was nearly at the compound when they said they had to "process her resignation," wait until the 20th. April 22, another 7 to 10 days. That evening they said she'd be released. When the father told them he was coming to pick her up the next day, they stopped replying. She's still in the compound. Family stays in contact through WeChat, sometimes her, sometimes the boss. Police opened a case April 14. The Chinese embassy in Myanmar has been notified.

I strongly condemn the unprovoked use of violence by the Thai side against innocent Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan Village in the afternoon of 12 November 2025, which resulted in injuries to three Cambodian civilians and the tragic loss of one life.

This act violates international humanitarian law and international law, and goes against humanitarian principles and the mutual agreement previously reached to resolve border issues through peaceful means—especially the agreement to allow the Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) to conduct survey and emplacement of temporary markers, and to maintain the status quo until the completion of the survey and a final decision by the JBC.

I call on the Thai side to immediately cease the use of force against innocent Cambodian civilians in Prey Chan Village and to refrain from any use of force in addressing border issues between our two countries.

I also call for an independent investigation into this incident and appeal for the participation of qualified international parties to uncover the truth and those responsible in order to deliver justice for the victims.

At the same time, I instructed the local authorities and all security forces to take urgent measures to protect our civilians—placing absolute priority on their safety and lives.

Cambodia remains committed to resolving this border issue peacefully, in accordance with the spirit of the Joint Declaration signed in Kuala Lumpur on 26 October 2025, with the goal of ending the conflict and building peace between our two nations.
