🚨 WATCH: Nigel Farage is repeatedly heckled by MPs as he calls on Keir Starmer to end "two-tier policing"
Starmer: "His response has been to appeal for rage. That’s his response to a father who lost his son & asked for this not to happen... it shows exactly who he is"

Bordeaux – Population 260,000. Has trams.
Leeds – Population 800,000. No trams.
We can, and we will, have nice stuff.
People will come up with reasons why we can't do it.
Ignore them. We can.
Yes we tram.
The killer will get the MANDATORY LIFE SENTENCE for murder
Regardless of which party is in Govt
Sadly there is no penalty for trying to exploit Henry’s terrible murder & his family’s pain for political reasons
When I reported on Zahawi I got a handful of abusive messages. When he apologised & it turned out I was right, they all stopped.
But Polanski? Wild levels of abuse, which just ramped up when Polanski apologised & it turned out I was right.
Does the Green Party have a problem?
"I once received £5m, a further £1m, an £800k house, helicopter trips and a trip to the Maldives, and wasn't expected to do anything in return for it."
@DavidMcNab17 Polanski denied living there. We published our report. He admitted living there and apologised. Now he’ll pay three years’ tax.
And you think I shouldn’t have reported it because <reasons>
Oh that's a real shame. @Jonathan_Pryor has been such a great councillor. Massive contribution to prosperity and growth in the city. No amount of local work or more campaigning could have overcome this though.
The driver said he was 1.6m away from the bike when he passed. Magistrates at Sheffield Magistrates Court deemed his driving legal and found him not guilty of Inconsiderate Driving (or in other words it wasn't a close - pass!) I'm surprised. @SaferRoadsYorks@Bikery1966
Exclusive: Richard Tice failed to pay £100k in tax, benefiting his investment firm — which then gave big sums to Reform
Tice gave contradictory reasons for why four shell companies paid zero tax. @DanNeidle says they flouted "basic" rule, face HMRC probe https://t.co/Xpnb9eP3MX
What a fantastic result by @n00dles71! The driver apparently represented themselves and thought he could use the "defence" of Greg not being a police officer and not using a court approved camera. Guilty. 6 points, £500 fine, £974 costs. Plus he will have an appointment with the Traffic Commissioner regarding his HGV licence. https://t.co/wmIVsvwc5W

Man’s got a streak.
Given the debate in @TfL@MayorofLondon@willnorman on vehicle size - I thought it would be worth sharing this again …
When common sense and strong research intersect @LSHTM
👍🏻👍🏻
Children hit by an SUV, while walking or cycling, are 77% more likely to be killed than if hit by a smaller car - rising to over 200% for children under nine.
That’s why I’ve asked TfL to research the growing impact of supersized SUVs in our city.
Very, very few people are capable of breaking the speed limit, even the 20mph one, on a bicycle. Legal electric-assist bicycles in the UK are limited to 15mph. The problem being identified here is with illegal electric motorcycles and e-scooters, which are nothing to do with cycling.
@BobFromAccounts@FestAKINBUSOYE Notice how the approaching cyclist is riding slowly and seems fully aware of the presence of the visually impaired pedestrian. It would be a completely different story had the pedestrian wanted to walk the other way - pedestrian would risk being hit by a driver.
