It exposed something critical: sheriffs who follow the law matter. When Charleston County had a sanctuary sheriff refusing to work with ICE to deport criminal illegal aliens convicted of horrific sex crimes, we put a stop to it.

South Carolina is not a sanctuary state. We will never let it become one.
