Loving a project I can do in 40 minute chunks. Half way through the advent calendar blanket with each colour used in one block and one striped square. Rejigged the pattern a bit now I’ve seen the colour order. Back to work on 16th Jan, hope to finish it by then. #knittingtwitter

Two years ago I was in Paris making a programme about Marie Antoinette. These items, which didn't make the final cut but which tickled my fancy greatly, were on display at the Conciergerie prison at the time.
