In 2021, Mark Carney said he wanted to ban gas cars by 2030. He now admits he was wrong—just like he was wrong on carbon taxes, oil and gas, money printing, and more.

But instead of just eliminating the EV mandate, he is bringing it in through the backdoor with tailpipe rules only EVs can achieve. Another illusion.

Carney should just admit he got it wrong and scrap the entire mandate. Put Canadians in the driver seat.
