I am so humbled & honored for all the friends, family, supporters, volunteers, & everybody who came out across the state to help in our campaign for change. We worked hard to give the voters a choice & I am very proud of the campaign we ran. 🧵 1/3
I congratulate Josh Green and Sylvia Luke for being the Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor and to all the candidates who ran a good campaign in this election. I wish them the best because Hawaii’s future is at stake. 2/3
I'm running to help working people and families put more money in their pockets, food on the table, and to do something about the rising cost of living.

The majority of people feel really left behind. In Hawaii the government is shaped to serve special interests and powerful groups of companies or individuals. I'm running for governor to bring common-sense, practical solutions to help improve lives.

As governor, I will work to eliminate the state income tax for earnings of $50K and under.
This can = 1 month of pay earned through the elimination of the state income tax for those earning $50K/year.

From the beginning, my campaign for Governor has been about 1 thing: bringing real change to Hawaiʻi & finally solving our toughest challenges. We don't have to accept the status quo. Together, we will change politics in Hawaiʻi for good. My priority is you, always.
@TheTomGeorge@VickyForGov she’ll stand up for small business and offers the most practical economic policy. Diversify the economy, reduce dependence on tourism & the military and a Lot of other problems fix themselves.

It’s #DisabilityPrideMonth: stand up for inclusivity, advocate for #disabilityrights & equality, and educate yourself…it’s an injustice that people with disabilities who marry those not receiving social security benefits are INELIGIBLE to receive federal disability entitlements.
We asked Vicky Cayetano, one of three leading candidates vying for the democratic nomination for governor, what she feels makes her the best candidate. This is what she had to say … #INSIGHTS#pbshawaii
