I think in the future execs at top companies will get hired based on how big their audience is. Joining a team that cares about content is good for the company and your career growth.

If I worked with someone like @businessbarista and @storyarb, I'd go all in on making content that builds their brand. Then, when it's time to branch out, I'd have my own audience that was built on the back of his and his company.

In a small way, I guess I did this with LinkedIn (i.e., many people first joined me here because I was working there and creating content sort of about the brand).

At Casper Studios I joke that my best content is really just repackaged insights from my team. Doing it the way that Alex speaks about here helps everyone get their own ideas out there too.
