Esto no es una diferencia editorial menor. Hay una discusión de fondo sobre los límites éticos de lo que una institución cultural decide publicar y, con ello, contribuir a legitimar en el espacio público.

Cuando se niega una violencia de esta magnitud o se presenta a una población civil, incluidos sus niños y niñas, bajo una lógica de amenaza y sospecha, no estamos solamente frente a una interpretación distinta de los hechos. Estamos frente a una forma de discurso que históricamente ha acompañado procesos de deshumanización.

Las revistas y espacios intelectuales no son neutrales. Lo que publican construye marcos de comprensión, establece prioridades y define qué voces adquieren legitimidad.

Por esa razón he solicitado el retiro de mi artículo. Mantener una colaboración en estas condiciones no es compatible con la responsabilidad que implica participar en el debate público.
