They suck you in with giant ears, paws they haven’t grown into yet, and that ridiculous head tilt.

Next thing you know, you haven’t gone to the bathroom alone in three years, half the couch belongs to them, and apparently personal space is no longer part of the deal.

Then somehow that goofy little land shark grows into the dog who watches the house, follows you everywhere, and would protect you without hesitation.

Still cries because you closed the bathroom door, though.

Best breed.

I went to the shelter on Saturday with a simple plan.
I had chosen a dog online — a Pitbull mix, strong and looking good… I had even named him “Bruno” beforehand.
The scene was set in my mind: the gate would open, he would come straight to me, wag his tail, I would put on the leash, and we’d go home.
But in reality, nothing happened like that.
The gate opened…
Bruno didn’t move.
He just stood there, let out a slight sound, head down.
I said, “Come here, buddy”… but he ignored me and started looking to the side.
When I looked over there…
in the corner was a small puppy huddled up.
He must have been 8 weeks old. Completely scared, shaking.
His eyes were on Bruno.
And Bruno’s were on him.
Then I understood the scene.
These two weren’t just sharing a cage…
they were each other's support.
Bruno wasn’t stubborn.
He just didn’t want to go alone… not leaving his friend behind.
It was a straightforward message — “either both or none”.
At that point, the decision became easy.
I told the staff: “Can I take both?”
They smiled… saying they always sleep together.
The paperwork was done…
and both came out together.
Side by side.
Just how it should be 🐾🖤

Путинского дружка Илью Трабера, обвиняемого в организации убийства, освободили из СИЗО и просто отпустили домой из-за "проблем со здоровьем".

Олег Тырышкин и Александр Доценко никого не убивали. Их посадили в 2024 году за слова и посты в соцсетях. У обоих были проблемы со здоровьем. Но их никто не отпустил. Они оба умерли в 2026 году в заключении.
Насколько этот режим людоедский по отношению к обычным людям, настолько же он любвеобилен к "своим". "Своим", а особенно околопутинской верхушке, можно вообще всё. Любое их преступление будет покрыто. Они это знают, и гарантированная безнаказанность порождает всё новые и всё более мерзкие преступления.
Поверьте: после смерти Путина о нынешней российской верхушке станет известно такое, по сравнению с чем остров Эпштейна покажется невинной забавой.

This was filmed last week at Mountain Shelter.
When James, 41, stood up after a thirty-minute visit, the dog reacted immediately. No barking. No jumping. Just wrapped around James's ankle like a vine and held on desperately. Whole body shaking.
Eyes wide. Breathing fast. James tried to shift his weight. The dog tightened the grip and pressed his face harder against James's shin. The shelter volunteer froze. The hallway went silent. The dog kept holding on, trembling, refusing to release even slightly. James tried lifting his foot gently. The dog lifted with it, still attached, still shaking. James said quietly: "I can't leave someone who needs me this badly." He sat back down. The dog immediately climbed into his lap and wouldn't move for thirty minutes. The shelter coordinator told us: "That dog has been surrendered five times in two years. Every single owner said they'd 'be right back.' None of them returned. The dog doesn't trust that leaving means coming back anymore. He was holding onto James like it was his last chance at stability." James adopted the dog that afternoon. Named him Anchor.
Said: "He anchored me to a decision I almost walked away from." Some dogs don't beg with noise. They hold on with everything they have because letting go has meant losing everything every time before.

I am always puzzled by people’s view of Putin as a sane person.

He’s irrational, he’s a psychopath, and his logic and knowledge of the world are quite limited. What he’s been saying in recent years, and especially in recent months, is not even borderline – it is simply delusional.

His psyche has been shaped by a KGB agent’s professional paranoia and by the habit of lying to and manipulating the listener. One does not remain completely normal while living like that for decades. (This is why I believe secret service agents should never be allowed anywhere near a presidential office.)

So, when people argue that Putin wouldn’t attack NATO “because Russia doesn’t have the resources” or “because they wouldn’t gain anything from it,” I’d like to remind them that NONE of the decisions Putin has made in recent years have been beneficial for Russia as a country, for the Russian economy, or for the Russian people. None of them.

There is nothing rational about what is going on. Hundreds of thousands of working-age men are being taken out of the economy and killed. Immigrants from Asian countries are being brought in by the tens of thousands to replace them in industry. Russia’s participation in the global economy is shrinking. The budget is being redirected toward a war economy, leaving healthcare, science, education, and business support behind.

Nothing is rational here.

So expect ANYTHING. Do not try to explain it. It will be irrational anyway – rational locally, within the narrow mind of a madman, but irrational globally.

Я недавно задумалась, что было бы, если бы я просыпалась, а мужик мне уже завтрак приготовил, трусы с носками положил на видное место, чтобы я сама не искала. А мне только на работу вовремя надо прийти и всё. Прихожу после работы, ложусь на диван, а мужик на кухне шуршит. Потом зовёт меня есть. После ужина я ложусь обратно на диван, а мужик ещё посуду моет и… готовит нам обеды на завтра, на работу. Делает уроки с детьми. Собирает их к школе. Купает их. Купается сам. Перед сном потом и я принимаю ванну. Ложусь в чистую постель, где мне доставят удовольствие. А потом я буду крепко спать!

А наутро я иду спокойно на работу после вкусного завтрака, ведь детей мужик ведёт до школы сам. Мне ж оно нафиг не надо. На выходных я, кстати, ходила бы с подружками в кафе или в кино. А мужик оставался бы дома, мыл бы полы, готовил бы обеды и ужины, занимался бы детьми и боялся бы меня потерять! А то мало ли что… Вдруг я в кафе другого найду. Более хозяйственного, стройного и хорошо одетого! Звучит как офигенный план на жизнь.
