Billy Sharp. Where do we even start with this icon. Rocked up at the Keepmoat nearly 17 years ago, wore the number 5 on his back and tore the Championship a new one in the Rovers red and white. Goals goals goals.

Went on to become the number 10, our first £1m+ signing and our club-record signing to this day, and countless memories followed. His emotion-packed worldie v Middlesbrough goes down as one of the best goals ever scored in world football, for so many reasons. That's for you son.

His goal the following week against Ipswich brought a memorable standing ovation from the home fans.

Who can forget his first Rovers goal at Scunthorpe, Fat Lad From Sheffield, the first goal at the Amex, the promotion-winning goal against Bradford, lifting a League Title. The list goes on.

This is one of the finest bagsmen English football has ever seen. 4 spells, goals galore, countless away fans wound up. Billy, you are a true Rovers legend. 👑 #DRFC
