When clear evidence is presented showing that brand-new AC buses have already been operating on Chennai & other city roads for over a year, the defensive pivot is immediate: "I did not say they were not running, I just said I did not know when they were bought".

This is a deliberate, cynical execution of an Epistemic Coup. The goal is to aggressively scrub institutional history so that the public is systematically conditioned to attribute every routine output of the state machinery entirely to a centralised, MODERN PERSONALITY CULT.
