COP28 Agreement Marks the Start of the Post-Fossil Fuel Era. With the urgent need for governments and businesses to turn pledges into tangible results, we, as non-party stakeholders, kicked off the year by enhancing our structure and strengthening large group capabilities.
I participated in a two-day meeting hosted by Bring Back Green Foundation Purpose and UNICEF India
During the session, I presented COP28 outcomes, detailed our plans for COP29, and led a workshop on cultivating green skills and jobs for the youth.

Highlighting the dual distinction of India's demographics—addressing concerns about the surge in #population and #consumption. My response to @PopnMatters at #COP28
"Not just because we are one of the biggest population country right now on earth, but also we have one of the highest population of youth right now."
@Vikrant_sri29 in answer to @mnyomb1's question on whether he worries about the growth in #population and #consumption.
Speaking at the World Climate Summit during COP28 was both an honor and a responsibility. Addressing the audience on behalf of millions of youth, including thousands of children, was a profound experience. Grateful for the opportunity to voice our collective concerns and advocate for a sustainable future.

COP28 brought everyone into the climate conversation, including youth, indigenous peoples, civil society, faith leaders and the private sector.
Keeping 1.5°C within reach needs everyone, working together, to deliver transformative climate action.

Reflecting on the LCOY India!
🔹 120+ Delegates from over 20+ states came together to ignite change.
🔹 3 Days of in-depth collaboration, enlightenment, and camaraderie.
🔹 Serving as both a facilitator and speaker was a privilege. Contributing to guiding discussions and sharing perspectives was truly rewarding.
I'm deeply appreciative of the opportunity to immerse myself in this setting, empowering youth across India and spotlighting the ACE Article 6 of the UNFCCC convention. A resounding applause for the brilliant organizers, and a special shoutout to the dynamic duo behind the scenes - Srishti Singh and Akhilesh Anilkumar
LCOYs go beyond conferences; they are platforms where the youth champion, educate, and actively carve their space in the global climate narrative.
