Inbox: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is adding @tomperriello to its “Red to Blue” program.

Per the DCCC, that means “the DCCC is invested in providing Perriello, a top-tier candidate, with the support needed to continue building a winning campaign as he runs for Virginia’s 5th Congressional District.”

Perriello is running in VA-05 against incumbent Republican Congressman John McGuire.

@CookPolitical rates the seat as “Solid Republican.”

The Politico story featured in this ad was about Kiggans' support last year for extending ACA subsidies by one year.

Kiggans ultimately voted to let the subsidies expire, leading to thousands of people in Virginia losing health insurance.
