5-Day Banking was agreed in March 2024, with longer weekdays accepted in return.

The commitment was made. The implementation is overdue.

Bankers keep India connected 24×7.

But behind every transaction, target and deadline is a human being, with a family, responsibilities and a life beyond the branch.

A 5-day week was agreed in March 2024, with bankers accepting longer working hours from Monday to Friday.

The demand is reasonable. The commitment is proven. The delay is difficult to justify.

Implement 5-Day Banking now.

A campaign launched by AIUBOF (Union Bank) in which the members will be boycotting all the campaigns and wont do overtime.
This is because last week one banker committed suicide due to work pressure and all staff is under lot of stress.
More Power to them. 🔥💪

An employee in Finance Ministry called me to ask my reaction to the Budget placed in Lok Sabha. I said to him “when the PM and FM are illiterates in economics, what do you expect?”. I asked him then to write down the objectives, priorities, economic strategy, resource mobilisation plans in the Budget. He laughed appreciatively.

#12thBPS is pending since 264 days.

I will be counting days on twitter and will tweet daily since #12thBPS is pending. It almost takes 3 years most of the times.

Wage revision of 10 lakh+ Bankers happens after every 5 years.

While we r raising concerns over #5DaysBanking & many more there r thousands of bankers out there maintaining ATMs upkeep leaving their families and holiday time.
@RBI why can't we come up with alternate solution for this?

The rampant forced selling of 3rd party products across all banks in the country is leading to duping of depositors and exploitation of less privileged section of the society. We want DFS intervention to ensure that this nefarious activities are stopped.
