Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The sign of good will is when one seeks the pleasure of Allāh, preparing for His meeting, feeling grief for any moment that passed in anything other than satisfying Him or keeping close to Him,
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“Whoever abandons habits for the sake of someone or something other than Allāh, will surely suffer hard and difficult times.
However, whoever abandons habits for the sake of Allāh sincerely from his heart,
It is said:
سامح اعدائك ولكن لا تنسى اسمائهم ابدا
”Forgive your enemies,
but never forget their names.”
Anyone who can backstab you once, is capable of doing it again. Don’t give second chances. If they get another opportunity, they will bite again.
