Eagles have been lacking a dominant outside CB duo for far too long to just get rid of Riq Woolen after a lost season where everything else went wrong.
I'd like to see Howie try to keep Woolen on an extension and pair him with Quinyon.

The NFL has concluded that the process surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being cleared to play in Week 5 with a superficial blood clot “was handled appropriately,” a league source tells @TheAthletic https://t.co/vrVEEKHv2L
@stoneoreye The nurse repeatedly saying 'I'm sorry' is just crazy. Just reinforces how selfish people in this country can be. Those are three living humans you're creating there. I get that it can be stressful, but man, have some humanity.
Just some clarity on what the #Eagles can or can't say when it comes to their players' medical issues and whether Howie Roseman should have been made available to answer questions rather than Nick Sirianni:
For years during the Andy Reid era, many times when there was an injury or medical situation that extended beyond the norm, the team would provide head trainer Rick Burkholder to answer questions from reporters.
For instance, when Mike Patterson collapsed and suffered a seizure during training camp in 2011, Burkholder was front and center after Patterson was diagnosed with cerebral arteriovenous malformation.
When Reid left, the Eagles essentially decided they would keep most injury information private outside of NFL-sanctioned practice and status reports.
Most of the questions about Jalen Hurts and his blood clot(s) that were directed at Nick Sirianni on Monday, however, were about procedure (should he have played? traveled? flown?). Sirianni deferred to the team's medical staff.
Obviously, no one from the medical staff was made available. They don't report to Sirianni, but to Eagles GM Howie Roseman. Roseman doesn't typically speak with reporters on the record during the season, except after major trades (i.e. Cam Jurgens two weeks ago). But there is nothing preventing the team from having a news conference with Roseman over the handling of Hurts during the last few weeks.
Presumably, if Roseman -- who is responsible for all roster decisions and oversees all medical, training, strength and sports science departments -- and the team believe they handled Hurts appropriately, then they shouldn't be wary of answering specific questions about the topic for public consumption.
@UmariTomoe Man girl you spend wayyyy too much time and energy steeped in all the negative parts of the community. Just mute and block all these negative nancies, you enable the behavior by subtweeting these losers
“It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy.”
― George Orwell, 1984
Because the Boomer Holy War, otherwise known as the Second World War, is the creation myth, the biblical Genesis, of the political world order we inhabit. History begins in 1945, Year Zero, when the Allied and Axis powers, the cosmic forces of absolute Good and Evil, clashed for dominion over the world.
What we call “Western Values” are the liberal American values of the postwar order: unregulated global capitalism, liberal democracy, individualism, civil rights, and equality. Three generations of men have been indoctrinated into this cult, which is ultimately a secularized heresy of Aristotelian humanist Christianity, repackaged as a universal moral doctrine.
Hitler has assumed the role of Satan, while some grotesque amalgamation of Winston Churchill and Martin Luther King Jr. occupies the throne of Jesus Christ. The Nazis are the defeated legions of Hell, and the Holocaust is the ultimate revelation of Evil against which all subsequent political and moral questions must be judged.
You’re not allowed to have nice things like community, traditional families, immigration restrictions, or any meaningful sense of national, ethnic, racial, or religious identity as a White person because any deviation from the sacred doctrines of the postwar consensus threatens to bring about Holocaust 2. To believe in any of these is to practice heresy. Racism is the ultimate heresy, and White guilt is origin sin, without a path to atonement.
The further removed each generation becomes from 1945, the weaker its attachment to this haphazard, pseudo religious worldview grows. In 13 years, an entire century will have passed since the outbreak of the Second World War.
The moralizing about the Holocaust, the obsessive fixation on stopping identity politics among native Westerners, the relentless insistence on feminism, diversity, and the ideological apparatus of the postwar order will resemble the exhausted dogmas of a dying secular religion whose founding revelation has lost its power over the living.
This is obvious as the materialistic promise of infinite growth and wealth has failed, and mass immigration, diversity and the third world are an existential threat to westerners who have no socioeconomic opportunities and a poor shot at family for formation.
The Big 3 are disgusted by how the Eagles handled Jalen Hurts and his blood clots:
“Jalen has done everything by the book and this organization has failed him.”

I don’t want Sirianni to be the Eagles HC anymore, but in no way is it fair to have him be by himself for that press conference. He doesn’t deserve that, at all. And I commend him for doing his best.
Lurie and Howie need to do so much better. Transparency and accountability are a must right now. Hiding has only made things worse.
