The way maps are Gerrymandered in Wisconsin, the WI GOP only needed to get 44% of the popular vote in 2022 to hold onto a majority of the State Assembly seats.
Democrats under the same maps would have had to get 62% of the votes statewide to get 50 seats in the State Assembly.
@SILVERMANHERE@DasDing_Dong All we have to do is create a cultivar and buy a nice patch of land in Marathon County and we'd corner the international market on sumac in no time. Sure, people would say, "they're crazy," and there would be flirtations with financial ruin, no doubt. https://t.co/heT3DNrVPA
The GOP via Pompeo is saying the biggest threat to them IN THE WORLD is Universal Public Education in the United States, which is a damn good reason to strengthen, support, and fully-fund our public education system in the United States of America.
"The most dangerous person in the world is Randi Weingarten. It's not a close call."

Unfortunately, Ron Johnson couldn't make good on his promise of not having a third term as US Senatorโluckily voters get a chance to hold him to his word this November.
@mikesuszek I'm going to go ahead and point out the fact that Mike McCarthy would routinely go 5 wide on 4 and 2 and Aaron Rodgers secretly misses Mike McCarthy and is a ball hog, and not a great team player.
The Republicans in the state leg are going to gavel in and gavel out of a special session today regarding Wisconsin's 1849 abortion ban that is still on the state law books.
I hope you're all voting this November.
