On this day 250 years ago, our forefathers gathered for a national day of fasting and prayer. Today, Americans will come together again as one Nation under God.
This is who we are and who weโve always been.
Today, the nation honors the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces, recognizing their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to defending America.
"As we celebrate 250 glorious years of American independence this year, we acknowledge that our precious freedom, enjoyed and embraced by generation after generation, has been secured for all citizens by the providence and grace of Almighty God and the service and sacrifice of every member of our military," a White House statement reads.

In 1787, the Constitution was written on just four pages of parchmentโฆ
But the ideas inside changed the world forever.
For nearly 250 years, the United States Constitution has protected liberty, limited government, and reminded every generation that freedom belongs to โWe the People.โ
The Founders knew something powerful:
๐ A nation can only remain free if its citizens understand the principles that sustain it.
That responsibility now belongs to us.
As America approaches its 250th birthday, we must do more than celebrate our historyโwe must teach it, preserve it, and pass it on to the next generation.
Every Pocket Constitution placed into the hands of a student is an investment in the future of our republic.
The Constitution
๐บ๐ธ Read it.
๐บ๐ธ Know it.
๐บ๐ธ Carry it.
