There is a war centered around the Strait of Hormuz
A large focus in this war has been naval warfare in the Strait. Mines, threats of destroying cables and unmanned capabilities as USVs and UUVs are common headlines this year
And the market is letting us buy $KRKNF $PNG.V at the 200MA
The pure play stock for subsea warfare
Clean financials with an attractive growth story
What is going on here?
$AAOI fell 14% on the SemiAnalysis CPO delay report. That’s a categorical error. AAOI sells pluggable transceivers. CPO slipping to 2028 or 2029 doesn’t threaten the pluggable era, it extends it.
The numbers were already strong. Q1 datacenter revenue grew 154% to $81.4M on first 800G volume shipments, full year guidance was raised above $1.1B with $140M+ in non GAAP operating income, and management says demand exceeds supply through at least mid 2027. Capacity goes from 100K units per month to 650K+ by year end.
The bear case on every pluggable name was CPO displacement starting 2027. The most credible voice in AI infrastructure just pushed that timeline out two years. The market sold AAOI alongside the CPO names anyway.
Hey Chicago Bears Fans,
Your blood is about to boil reading this:
I just did some research. The state of Illinois has spent over $2.5 BILLION on free benefits for illegals last year.
At the same time Illinois Governor @JBPritzker was telling the Bears there’s “no money” for tax relief on a new stadium.
Let that sink in.
For $2.5 billion the state of Illinois could have PAID for a new stadium for the Chicago Bears.
Instead, they spent it paying for lavish benefits for aliens, while running a $3 billion deficit and losing a franchise they've had for over 100 years.
This is what Democrat priorities look like. They hate you and will destroy your state for power.
