Labour won a majority in @SeneddWales, but Mark Drakeford is not currently the First Minister of Wales. Tomorrow the Senedd will convene for its first plenary, where they shall elect a Presiding Officer, a Deputy Presiding Officer and the First Minister. https://t.co/QnyUVepVGM

While the Senedd has a form of proportional representation, it has not been utilised to the best of its ability, if the 20 regional seats were national, this is what the Senedd would have looked like.

Plaid Cymru - 13 (+1)

Congrats to @MarkDrakeford on securing a majority within the Senedd. However, if he encouraged Labour voters to use their list vote wisely, we could have had a more progressive Senedd.

We hope that over the next five years Labour will push to improve the Senedd institution.

Drakeford clearly doesn’t understand the voting system here in Wales. Using your list vote for Labour in the South Wales regions is a vote for the Tories. Don’t waste your second vote! If you want to support the Labour government vote for an alternative progressive party instead.
